I love the chimes.
The elevator near Macy's is giving Garage C a run for its money as far as poor reliability is concerned.
There used to be like a KONE Elevator here with innovation decorator and then escalators were this elevator and stairs are and it had been start remodeling in 2016 and the 2nd floor used to have mall entrance.
This elevator reminds me to the one at Kohl’s at Coral Square.
The chimes here are getting sick and not doing good.
Even though it was installed in 2001, this elevator reeks of leftover MontgomeryKone parts.
This elevator look exactly to the one at JCPenney at stonebriar center frisco, TX
That outside elevator is STILL broken?
Yes it has been broken for while for 2024 now.
@@elevator89 oh it is? I wasn’t sure if it still was as this was filmed earlier this month
When I went to this mall a few times, it has been still broken because of how it started a death trap.
I was there this past Saturday and it was still down. One of the glass elevators were broken as well.
@@pbe3704 yeah that glass one was broken at the time i was here
is there a camera in there
I can’t believe these still have the high pitched indicator noise!
It's weird that they'd give a simple 2-story elevator a full modernization. I thought Macy's usually saves these mods for larger stores that are 3 floors or taller.
Sad to see these go! The Long Bar MT's at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott are in the process of getting modernized but the service cars have not been touched yet
Nice video of the day.❤🎉.
Odd to say the least
yummy Schindler MT traction elevators!!!
Epic Motor, and very interesting that Kone used Mad instead of Innovation for the mod.
Nice video of the day.❤🎉. 0:09 .
Kohl’s in Miami International Mall closed months ago, can’t wait for the new indoor amusement park Elev8 Fun.
I LOVE THOSE ELEVATORS
The only completely original Coral Square elevator since 2023, this (my official elevator) was installed in 1998 (International was first introduced that year by and was exclusive to Dillard's, which lasted here until 2010 - the same time I started my seven year stint at Parkridge Christian Academy also in Coral Springs) and Kohl's came in 2011. Today, this mall is the lone place in Broward County lacking Dillard's and having Macy's, and also the solitary indoor mall in both Southeastern Florida (the Gold Coast) and the entire Sunshine State with Kohl's as an anchor.
This is my favorite elevator here which the official elevator was taken by Lenny A 03 which is his most favorite elevator.
Not only that, but my cousin Myriam shops here! And this is the only completely original elevator at this mall because the other three got modernized: in 2013, 2019 and 2023.
@@lenaa2003 oh I see that.
I can’t believe it took just 10 years for three out of four elevators here to get modernized - beginning with Sears (a Montgomery Vector from 1989) in 2013 and ending with this (Macy's Men, Children & Home) in 2023 - JCPenney (2019) is in the middle. So, all of this mall's elevators are modded except for Kohl's. Additionally, the center court Macy's (housing Ladies Apparel) is the only single floor anchor as the rest are two levels.
This store opened within the mall in 1984, so that’s when this was installed. GAL got their hands on this - and Pembroke Lakes - in 2019!
Really sad that this thing god modded.
Me too, especially because this is my local Macy's. This modernization is the third time it happened (2023), after Sears in 2013 and JCPenney in 2019, leaving only Kohl's with a completely original elevator left at Coral Square.
For security reasons do not offer use of access device to others
Wow!! I love Miami what hotel is this?
@@JaxBrubaker-po8ld this is a residential actually that’s why it’s not disclosed
My local macys, love this thing i hope nothing happens to this store or the elevator. I just wish this wasn’t the only 2 floor store in the mall. Also this was installed in 1981. They could’ve installed a square button but I like how they used flushline to switch it up a bit
81.
I actually thought it was the Los Angeles one when I saw the title. I really like the fixtures and the indicator
Did the TKE mechanic confirm these are running on E401 controllers?
@@upanddownadventures yes
@@SouthernSunshineElevators WOW! In that case these could be the highest-rising original E401 installations in North America. Were these pretty fun to ride? I was impressed by the E401s at the Sahara Las Vegas (and those are much slower than these), I'm pretty sure the one car that was running actually beat the modded cars in speed (in terms of accel/decel/leveling, not top speed which would be the same for both cars).
Yep that's the apartment I got busted on as I was leaving after I filmed the elevators.
Nice Elevator
Is this building partially residential, or are the residences a separate building/tower?
@@upanddownadventures It’s half hotel half residential.
I just found a 36 floor one yesterday in Atlanta. This one is awesome.
When you record cruise ships, I recommend doing so at 4 or 5 AM. No one is awake so they’re not busy (obviously)
oh
CUTE MAD BS CLASSIC BUTTONS!!! The brailes are kind of worn out, they need to be replaced again.
💀
Nice video of the day.❤🎉.
Every elevator here is probably from 2011.
Lovely how otis didn’t use their own VR fixtures and used those fixtures instead (I thought they were MAD BR not epco)
These elevators feel much older than they actually are, I used to think these were installed when the property was first built back in 2004. I didn't realize until recently that these were added in 2010.
The Atlanta Marriott Marquis smart keyed their elevators, but you can still get up to 42 without a keycard.
I LOVE THOSE ELEVATORS
For some reason i love the floor passing chime
@@Dav1205Firealarmsandelevators Yeah it’s an EPCO chime i believe. However TKE seems to be using it too
Capacity plz
These were inspected on 7/15, and yet again there was only one elevator in service. Even though these aren't too old, they should just mod these with how unreliable they've become.
@@pbe3704 Damn 4 months with these out of service. I’m guessing it’s the same one that’s been the only working one for that long
Will they replace all the buttons in the ones in both towers at Quantum on the Bay?
The Motala Hissar on the Enchanted Princess has the same chime
i wish the marriott still had these
