What is type of electric creaser you use?
I bought the parts and built the Leather Edge Creaser myself
Beautiful strap and skill ✨✨✨✨👍
Very nice watch strap 👌 I've been researching how to make different style watch straps, the kind I'd like to make first is a bund style strap and not just a simple plain Jane strap but a nice one with good details, I'm meticulous about details. I'd also like to make a Breitling style leather strap, the kind that uses the deployment buckle and you see on Breitling Navitimers quite often but I haven't seen any videos on how to make one. The one in this video is similar except the deployment style straps have a more squared off end instead of a point. I think Breitling wants something like $400 to $500 for a new one, used ones in good condition go for a couple hundred usually but I don't think it would be that hard to make, just knowing the right kind of leather and how it's finished is probably the hardest part of it, the rest is probably easy peasy.
Super cool to see other artisans uploading cool videos like these. Definitely skilled! Good job (Subscribed!)
Thanks for the sub!
Nice work mate,I’m new here. I’m confused about back leather choice, any idea? Thanks
You should choose Zermatt leather for the lining, it's soft and sweat-proof. :D
@@babuhandmade thanks bro 😎
That was so good

Hi. We use pricking iron 3.0mm
ее кто то заставляет? грустная музыка.... грустная девушка....
OK !
Very nice work & video! Can you tell us what weight of the backing leather you used? I can guess but would like to know for sure - THANKS!!
Hi. We are not sure what do you mean? you mean the thickness of the backing leather?
@@babuhandmade - SORRY, yes the thickness - Here in the USA leather is sold based on the weight of the leather for a 1 square foot piece - 4-5 ounce is thin, 8-9 is thicker, etc. THANKS VERY MUCH!!
@@oldiowan We understood. We use the backing leather with about 1 ~ 1.1mm thick. Have a great day!
@@babuhandmade THANKS!! According to the WEAVER Leather website 3 ounce vegetable tanned leather is 1.19mm thick. I hope this helps everyone!
Pattren please haha
Your hands are unbelieveably steady! I hope I can gain this technique especially when cutting.
Very very nice! What stitching size do you use? Is it 3mm or something even smaller?
Hi! We use 0.42 ~ 0.45mm stitching :)
@@babuhandmade Sorry, I didn’t mean the stitching itself. I meant the size of your stitching pricking iron… Are they 2.85mm or 3mm pricking iron punches for the stitches? Thanks
@@friscokid66 Oh! Sorry. We use 3mm pricking iron punches, or 2.75mm when we make watch straps with small size.
👍👍👍👍👍 SUPER

Nés sub here, thank you for sharing. I would love to ask what kind of dye you used for the edge finish ?
Hello Dandy! We use paint for the edges :D
Great work, is it edge kote that you are using on the edges of the strap ? I tried fiebing leather dye but the leather just drank it and it looks really bad....
Hi, We use paint for the edges. It is very helpful, you can search "leather edge paint" on Google
