What happened to the relationship between ZF and Sachs, now BMZ ? i noticed on your website that many of the bike companies you are partnered with still carry the sachs/bmz .
The drive previously marketed under the Sachs brand was a joint development with partners. The existing "Sachs RS" system will continue to be marketed under the Sachs brand until it is replaced by a successor system. Service and spare parts supply for existing and future customers are and will remain guaranteed. The new "ZF Bike Eco System" drive system presented at Eurobike 2024 with its heart, the "CentriX" drive unit, is the first drive system developed by ZF for e-bikes and will therefore be marketed under the ZF brand.

Impressive motor. But that screen and led hub are terrible. A tiny screen on the toptube, like on Specialized or SRAM systems, is all what a trail/enduro bike needs. No Starship remotes, screens, leds...
I wish turbolamik had a controller for this one like the one they have on zf8hp, I can't imagine coupling this to a high powered engine like 2jz. 0-60s will be probably 1.9 secs😂. instant torque of an electric motor + high power ic engine will be something to beat dragons with. Im starting to understand, its not about car brands anymore. its about who supplies them. and ZF is the best supplier in terms of transmission. Thanks for giving the world ZF8HP. absolutely bulletproof and marverlous transmission.
Das ist wirklich eine Superleistung, all diese Elektronik und Mechanik in so ein kleines Paket zu packen und dazu auch noch in eine zylindrische Form. Das hat bisher kein anderes Unternehmen geschafft. Übrigens, soweit ich sehe, zielt es auf den Gravelbike-Markt ab, aber wird es auch eine Pedelec-Version geben? Also 250 Watt und keine Unterstützung über 25 km/hSt? Oder gibt es Möglichkeiten, es beispielsweise softwareseitig, zu drosseln? Ich bedanke mich im voraus!
Der ZF Centrix erfüllt alle gesetzlichen und normativen Anforderungen an Pedelecs. Dazu gehören zum Beispiel 250 Watt Dauerleistung und die Einhaltung der Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 25 km/h. Die angegebenen 600 Watt sind die Spitzenleistung. Das ZF Bike Eco System ist damit für alle Bereiche des Pedelec-Marktes ausgelegt, von E-MTB über Trekking bis hin zu Urban.
@@zfgroup Vielen Dank, dass sich jemand nach der hektischen Eurobike so schnell die Zeit genommen hat, mir zu antworten. Das ist genau die Antwort, die ich hören wollte, denn ich bin Pedelec-Fahrer. Die geringe Größe, die clevere Montage mit nur vier Schrauben in einer einfach zu konstruierenden halbrunden Halterung, das ist meiner Meinung nach ein Design von hervorragender Qualität!

The first e-bikes with ZF drive systems will be available from selected bicycle dealers at the beginning of 2025. The main launch partner is the company RAYMON Bicycles. Other partners who will soon launch the ZF Bike Eco System are Komenda - with the Bergstrom brand, which is strongly represented on the Swiss market. And also the innovative e-bike brand Ultima from France.

Nein, Rekuperation ist bei dieser Art von Antrieb nicht möglich.
Great work. How is this different from the automatic sensor calibration that Tesla has been using for years for Autopilot in their vehicles? Once you drive your Tesla for the first time, it takes a few minutes of driving to calibrate the sensors too before you can enable Autopilot.
Extrinsic auto-calibration of sensors is not new to automotive products. It started with L2 ADAS applications, like smart cameras, radars, or surround view systems. We are aware of the market offering products with a similar functionality for autonomous vehicles beyond L2. The main difference to those is that our solution is a stand-alone product. Our software can be customized to use different sensors like lidars, cameras, or radars and adapt it do different modes of operation. The variant presented in the video in addition calibrates after just a few minutes/kilometers and therefore in the fraction of the time compared to other solutions.
