Point barre.

Such a bitter man. No words on african slavery or the african slave trade? The west made him rich and famous..he then moved to France..not Nigeria...wonder why?

Heston keeps pounding his makeshift gavel and tapping James Garner on the shoulder as if say, “Come on , listen up!” However, Garner is already at attention and listening. It’s Brando and Curtis who are the ones who are more difficult to come to order.

What he says is powerful and true, but it's still mostly observatory what he says. He tells the Dutch here to not make the same mistakes as the Americans. But when he is asked how to avoid that he decides to stay within the more vague terms of saying "dont build another Harlem". Yes, but what does that mean? It's a fascinating man to listen to, no doubt, but I find it hard to take what he says and claims to the bank. Hope this makse sense.

I was in my early teens when I saw this live on TV back in 1963, and Sis Mahalia's beautifully fantastic voice as she sang to my Lord really moved me to tears! It was most apparent that she was a woman of God, and I felt the Spirit as she sang! She was authentic and exalted Jesus Christ to the maximum!!!
