This happy and sad, the last time I saw the bad pennies Kate Bramble had taken Judy's place and Judy was with Real time and I guess if this is read by anyone they will know Judy has passed away, a lost talent. Nice to hear the band again though.

I would see John live at the Plymouth folk club back in the 70's even have his first album Morning Brings the Light, the club was run by Bill Lang, we kept in touch up to a few year back but i am not sure if Bill is still with us his christmas cards just stopped coming. Happy days and i was a lot younger now 70 but it seems like only yesterday. John still has it timeless music.

Good lord I'd almost forgotten how much of an ANIMAL this guy was. I imagine him living in a cage, and they'd just throw him some raw meat every now and then to feed him!!! What a phenomenal artist this guy was.

I'll never forget this performance - the only time, alas, that I saw RT. He was so masterful on that stage, it was mesmerising. And what he was able to do with that guitar! He filled the airwaves as if he was a band. As good as his recordings are, there's a very different dynamic live. As I say - he was masterful. I was also surprised to see Strawbs play - some 30 years after I'd got into them as a kid. Quite emotional to see them, again for the only time. Sang my heart out. I wish I'd returned regularly to Trowbridge Village Pump Fest - they always had a great line-up, and it was easy to get to see everyone. Thanks for the upload. Did you ever get to see Steve Hillage at Bath Free fest? That's going back a bit! Again, memorable. Ah, my youth.

The establishment saw to it that Gaughan was never given a platform on tv, radio or anywhere else his message might make people think and ask questions. He stood for a Scottish socialist republic, so you can guess how much the BBC loved him. A truly talented and principled artist.

My wife and I planned our honeymoon around Chris's tour schedule in 1995. It was the first of 2 shows at the Left Bank Cafe in Blue Hill Maine on August 9 where, chatting with with Chris before the show, we first learned that Jerry Garcia had passed away that morning. (Our other favorite guitar player.) We suggested he dedicate a song during his set and "I Am the Ride" is what he played and, damn, did he nail it. I still often weep when I hear it and will take the memory of that evening to my grave.

this is so so so good. He was literally able to embody any energy at the drop of a hat. This one is pretty rare to me in this style, his singing sounds really good here. No disrespect to this magnificent man, but sometimes he can be pretty off in these rare recorded performances, but when he's on its beyond amazing. A true heroic musician.
