  You could tell him these earlier interviews that David didn’t really know how to handle Robin when he would come on the show. Not in a bad way, but it’s clear you just have to let Robin take the wheel lol. Rest in peace to the legend.

  He's wrong. If you watch the actual appearance, you'll see she set him up by asking, 'Do you do an impression of me?" He does it and says something like, "You're very difficult to do." She says, "Let's skip it, then." She's pretends he didn't do her to give the impression that it wasn't very good. If you watch her, she smiles wryly because she just burned him and knows it. At this point, she'd had a bad stroke shortly before this appearance and only one side of her mouth is smiling... Marty was on the side that didn't move, so he couldn't tell she was smiling. The audience caught it and started laughing and he looks confused for a second and moves on.
