How long did they last?
They looks so pretty on you! Seems "slim" on your nail bed lol
The nails I used are the nude ombre but I think they may have sold out in medium nude almond on Amazon 😩 they do have peach and pink and other shapes
That beetles gel glue has ruined my hands and nails. They will not heal and now are allergic to everything. I never had nail or hand issues and used beetles all the time. It just happened out of nowhere even though I am very careful with my application and don’t get it on my skin. My hands are so dry no matter how much moisturizer I use that they crack and I have deep cuts all over my hands they hurt so bad and will not heal. This has been going on for like 2 months now since I used the glue and immediately took them off once they started burning and blistering.
It’s so weird. I used to do my own acrylic, gel, and nail glue press on nails my self with no issues and literally no reactions. Then when I got a job, I started going to the shops and getting dip. Fav nail option but that’s exactly when my allergies started. And ever since then I’ve been allergic to all acrylic and nail glue. But gel doesn’t bother me. I want nail extensions so this really sucks! I would prefer the dip because it was easy and quick and left my nails stronger than even acrylic (I think it’s the same products either way) but it’s not worth the allergic reaction. My nails almost separated from my nail bed. It was so bad 😅 It’s insane how I did a better job than the shops (if application is the issue) when doing my own nails I NEVER had a reaction. And I did EVERYTHING. Sucksssss
Your encouraging. I don't like the acrylic thick. Basically an overlay to keep short nails strong and neat looking.
They look so good 😍
Thank you so much! ❤ so much easier than the acrylics I used to do lol 😩 even tho I do kinda miss my acrylics these are just so much faster.
Love this brand! I definitely will be using these tricks next time I put them on. I love your nail videos ❤️
Me too!!! They’re so much more natural looking than any you buy in the store. They are comming out with so many other options that have colors on them too.
Your rings are so cute, where did you get them!!! And i will be trying this technique it looks so good !!!!! So much love
Thanks! I’ve got them random places but I know the small dainty bands I got here, I’ve had them for so many years now, rarely take them off. amzn.to/4bMZ62G
Got this kit hope it worked and last
Beetles and Saviland are my go too. The only thing is, is I wish the polish came in 14.5 ml !!
Do you struggle at all when using your non-dominant hand?
They look so natural! Good job!
I did everything you did an it doesn't stay on the edge an it never work so I came to find a vid an saw we did as I said the same IDK wta please help 😅
Leaving your natural nail longer also protects your skin from gel spillage
Can’t wait to see how they hold up. I’ve been wanting to try this nail kit!
It's a good kit just that I know I'm not doing some thing right but so far I like.
This is still my favorite tutorial.
What a wonderful look!!!👌👌👌👌👌❤️❤️❤️❤️
Work because the other video about the company it had a whole new steps. You just kept falling off and falling off so you should probably take down your video. Can you just even work
I love thes,I'm definitely going to try it. I'm learning to do my own nails.
I never understand when girls say press ons don’t last.mines last up to 20 days and that’s because I take ‘em off because I want a new set.You did a good job doing your own nails overall tho 👍🏻
perfection.
The outcome was perfection!
Thank you! I made every mistake that you mentioned 😂 I’m gonna try again❤
When I apply gel nail glue it doesn't hold the nail I have to somehow hold the nail down but then I can't use it light need a third hand. I've held it a minute and it still lifts up. Help!
Wait so you are trying to avoid gel allergy but you are using gel tips? :(
I have the same problems I belive it is since I had covid I done nails for years and it just come from no were the best thing to do is use glitter bells polish I am waiting on my glitter bell gel and if I don't get a reaction I will let u no I got rid of all my nail stuff so I'm starting from scratch 😢❤xx
😀 'Promo sm'
I’ve done 3 set now using the uv gel glue and I love it. I work hotel housekeeping, so press on don’t last for me but I find using the UV glue I can get 2 to 3 weeks out of a set as long as they’re not too long I find when they are longer they pop off easier and that’s when I’m trying to pull the fitted sheets over the corners of the mattress if they’re too long, they pop up and it hurts like a bitch
Nail salons have -always- told me you "can't" do ombre gel nails. Between that, all the upcharges and lack of quality to the work produced...I stopped going. You can't tell someone something can't be done when they have done it themselves.
It’s simply because they don’t want to do it because it will take longer. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve show them a picture and could get tell them how to do it & they would say they can’t. They just want to get ppl in and out and even if they did so it, it would be so crazy expensive! I really hated going to get my nails done, I hate the vibe you get walking into most of them. It’s been so nice not having to worry about all that!
I always wondering, how do you take the old off?? And do you make that every two weeks or so ??
The soaking method people use never works for me so I usually cut and sand them down then I’ll apply this gel remover to get the rest off. I usually keep them on for like 3 weeks and at the point they still aren’t lifting or popping off. This is the gel remover I use, you leave it on for like 6 minutes and then scrape it off, avoid getting it on skin. amzn.to/49BmjUq
Also guys, my nails look a lil dirty underneath because I used a self tanner the night before and I couldn’t get it out of my nails, I tried, I even used alcohol under them and it still didn’t come off 😩
Love them. I have started doing my nails at home. Your videos were what guided me first! Can’t wait to try this style 💅 ❤
Yay! You know what, the prices they charge to get nails done now is crazy, I’m so happy I started doing my own. It just takes practice and time haha. 😅
It felt so weird with this shape. I wasn’t used to it, kinda felt like I was new having nails 😂 it’s weird. But I think I actually really like them!
noooo , i cannot use those gel tips even if cured by uv that is not true. u still get really bad reaction if allergic to gel!
What color polish are you using. I LOVE IT! ❤
Gourges excellent
I always struggle doing designs with my non dominant hand 😹 it’s amazing how you can do both hands so easily
Sometimes it’s hard but what’s funny is that a lot of times my right hand comes out better 😂 i think it’s because I don’t film that hand and I can really just focus on doing the design instead of worrying about if my hand is in the frame or focused and I’m not doing the design at a weird angle. Lol I think I would do better not filming the design because its harder and I usually can’t see what I’m doing. But it just takes more time to do the other hand.
so cute. love it
Thank you so much!
What happens if you forget to put primer?
Tbh nothing. Lol I have forgot to put it on so many times and they still last the same amount of time, I didn’t really notice any difference with mine atleast if I’m being honest.
Stop 🛑 buying Chinese crap off of Amazon! USA manufactured only. Oh Ps those polish remover products are super dangerous… Doug Schoon talks all about it.
Beautiful! Is there a type of base or primer you recommend?
I used beetles gel polish and gel builder from that brand off of amazon and I have blisters and itchy burning sensation now. I know it's the beetles brand and maybe any other gel brands that can cause it. Im scared because I wanted to try poly gel but I dont know if that will cause it too???
This happened to me also with the beetles gel Glue,
This is a great video for learning. There is a learning curve but after one mess up once, it gets better from there. Gel x nail application is very therapeutic. Another step that was missed…. You should use a dehydrator and a nail primer on both your natural nail and the nail itself.
I know this video is 1 year old but for those who dont know or a new with gel x if you are having fitting issues or when its growing out it doesnt look good glue the nail midway on your natural nail cure file/buff then apply builder gel to blend in the fake nail down to your cuticle also when using an electric file holding it at a degree near your cuticle as you move up your nail keep the file flat the bottom of the file is for your cuticle only use the middle of it for the rest of your nail laying flat as you go up to prevent damaging your nail bed
I love these! They look classy. I want to do my nails like this. Thanks for the inspiration.
They look great and very natural.
Thank you so very much for honoring my cousin Patrice. It's amazing
Nothing better than a little research and education before you start working with a new product...
