Palps has a little Bane in him 16:51
I would change the name of SNOKE while I'm at it. "Snoke" was always a horrendous name for a key Star Wars character -who the hell even came up with that crap name?
I had to watch all your kenobi videos again after watching the acolyte last night. People like you keep starwars alive right now!! As Sam Witwer said quoting Dave Faloni. Starwars is like a bunch of campire stories and legends told. Right now I choose to listen and believe your legends!! Thank You!
❤️
15:34 - Argus Filch?
So good! When is the next episode??
Can we get this guy control of all star wars?
The campfire scene writing is so much better than anything Disney has given us, Andor aside. Well done.
Episode VII is not awesome. It's not bad, and by itself it's a fun movie. But it is NOT by itself. It is EPISODE VII, meaning it's part of a bigger story and must be treated as such. As part a larger story, it's terrible. It ignored all that happened in episodes IV - VI as if they've never happened. The empire is still around (different name) and just as powerful with a big bad Sith Lord running it and a big bad planet killing weapon. Sorry, but that's uninspired, unimaginative stupidity. It does not continue a story. It just repackages cool scenes from earlier episodes. "Han was great as a cocky smuggler. Let's make him a cocky smuggler again!" That makes no sense as far as storytelling goes. He had grown and changed as a person and had become a responsible, courageous leader. Undoing all that was not storytelling. It was the opposite.
Wow! Wow!! That speech choked me up!
Okay. I went back and rewatched all of these. And this IS the sequel trilogy. It’s out of this fucking world. Luke walking off in the sunset with Mara IS HIS ENDING. You cna just feel that this is the true ending of SW
🙏
I can’t wait for all the episodes to come out so I can binge them.
this is deffo chat gpt
Check the description.
In only 9 years time Obi Wan was already looking older than his dad 💀💀
God. Damn.
Yeah
These seriously deserve respect... Thank you for keeping Star Wars alive in the hearts of many of us..
There are so many versions of the Kenobi series. This one is the canon one. Honestly this is absolutely beyond AWESOME!
The true sequel trilogy
The sequel trilogy if Disney cared
Lost opportunities. These are wonderful.
Am I the only one that gets chills on this part? Especially when he asked if his father rehearsed that speech.
😁
Am I crazy or does Obi-Wan's father look like Dr.Fate?
Could it be?
How many more chapters. Want to watch but waiting for it to be finished.
Many
The problem with any of this stuff is we all know what happens to Obi Wan. He won't die, he won't start a new Jedi Order, he won't defeat Vader, he'll train Luke Skywalker and die at Vader's hands on the Death Star. It takes the threat out of it. When Obi Wan and Vader faced off in the actual show it was totally devoid of any feeling. There was no angst, no worry if Obi Wan would survive the encounter, nothing because we know what happens, same for Vader. If these shows continue to go backwards, they need to invest our time in characters where we don't know the outcome for them. That was a huge part of Ashoka Tano's appeal.
We knew the rebels were going to get the death star plans and yet rogue one was entertaining
We know what will happen but we don't know the series of events that leads to that. Bruh, the prequels did this. We all know what is going to happen but we are eager to watch how the republic turned to the empire, how Anakin turned to Darth Vader, and so much more. Your argument relies that movies and shows are only engaging if the end results a story and it's characters are unknown. That may be true in some cases. However, we've seen many times how we all know the end but we are still hooked into the series of events that led to it.
Good prequel or sidequel stories tell us things we didn't know or expand upon what we do know. There's a lot that is left open, and plenty of time for it to happen. Also, the Ashoka show was trash.
I honestly get to work thinking, "No KZread, get your work done first..." Then I see you posted part 6.... dammit
😁
I don't really buy Bens fall here ngl, or maybe im missing something. Didnt he go to the emperor FOR the republic
Another great episode, you can sense the internal conflict in Obi-Wan. Great job!
This is absolutely incredible please never stop you are our only hope!
Please make a version of the Phantom Menace based on the original screenplay.
🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝
Now this is Star Wars!!! Their conversation actually has weight to them!
Great story. But why the inflection-less AI voice?
I'm so intrigued! I never thought to even consider exploring Kenobi's parentage. It's such a story crafted around this character. I'm on the edge of my seat!
It's a unique concept to explore. But I don't know if it really fits the Obi-Wan character. Not everybody's past needs to be explored.
Ok, so Pierce Brosnan is playing Obi-wan's dad AND he's a Schindler's List type...I dig it
So Pierce Brosnan goes full on Schindler's List in this version? This may sound weird, but I love it so far!
You should do What if Game of Thrones S8 was awesome
Space Schindler
Really hope Theory covers this series. They're very good and not getting the attention they deserve.
Epic opening
*“So what we told you is true…from a certain point of view.”* Like father, like son.
It's cool because now the phrase is recontextualized as Obi-Wan remembering his father's words.
Hello there.
He said "dollar" instead of credit
Another fantastic episode! I can tell you were partially inspired by Schindler’s List, and it’s especially ironic that Obi-Wan’s father presumes the role of a character who was played by Liam Neeson (Qui-Gon Jinn) in the film
I was thinking of Schindler's List too!
The writing is top notch 👍, can’t wait for your your Boba Fett in the future.
Dude.. yes
Yeeeeaaaaah baby!
😉
@prismstories You don't disappoint. This plot is amazing. I love the conflict it creates in Kenobi and the question of loyalty to family or to a code. Very intriguing. Can't wait for the next one.
What I wouldn’t give for someone from Disney to see this video . And reply back saying “Help us Prism, you’re are only hope.”
We'll see what happens after Acolyte
Once you're done with telling the story in these parts it would be cool to see you making a compilation among these parts to make it 1 video. Digging the story
👍🏼
this should be canon man, and it would make sense for an old call kestis to apear as master to a secret jedi order contacting luke after episode 6.
That would break the entire storyline.
I thought I gave you a day not two weeks😠.. but this is still great thank you for this ❤❤❤
Sorry 😔
The story is so darn good! I love these ideas. The Kenobi show story was disappointing and very poor concept. This story is very cool and interesting. I'm hooked in....
Thanks man
The thumbnail looks like Pierce Brosnan lol.
It is.
James Bond in Star Wars would be nice
