@@dandalporto3946 It was originally painted light blue (Arcata Garbage Company color), but when Recology bought Arcata a few years ago, it was repainted white.
He knows, he drove it when it was that color.

Great video! I do prefer videos like this which are filmed on a "real" camera rather than phones or action cameras. I do my filming on a real camera and love the ability to zoom in smoothly and get some good long-distance shots without needing to move; especially good when the truck is approaching from a distance and being able to control the shot. I can't say I have been though 10 different cameras however, like you have; that is impressive. I'm using a Sony camera which offers 30x optical zoom but only films in 1080P; good at the time I purchased it. My next addition for my filming I think will need to be a gimble to help for video stability. I'm contemplating whether or not it is worth the financial investment as they do not come cheap, been looking at secondhand ones too. Keep up the great work!

@@TheNVTrashMan it's a 2022 model, we recently got a bunch of smc trucks that may become the daily runners for the older trucks but it's still unsure since they're a lot longer

The stability is good, I stupidly turned it off on this video so I had to re-stabilize it in my video editor. I'll update you when I know for sure. Glad you enjoyed!

@@northernvirginiagarbagetrucksok I just used it today with the built-in auto stability and it is AMAZING! Even when you're fully zoomed in there's very minimal shaking and it's still really easy to control because of where all the buttons are.
The quality is NICE dude! We've all found that the most significant difference (well, imo at least) between phone vs. real camera filming is the clear zoom shots. Looking forward to more videos with this camera - I'm awaiting a battery for my new Nikon tomorrow, probably not as high quality as this or the Canon I borrowed over Spring break but I'm excited to experiment!

@@RecologyChaserofc! How is it with focusing? Are you manually focusing and changing iso or is it all auto?
@@JamesE8 I just have the camera on automatic, there's probably ways to change the focusing in the settings but I haven't looked into that yet
even with 1080p (my stupid chromebook doesn't play 4k well) it looks amazing!

Nice! My neighborhood has totters in the on the ZR try to grab them. They grab too hard and they like make a big hole like right below the square part in the center of the back. Those CPs look pretty harmless. I don’t think they would do that lol
Yeah the toters fit well into the tri grips. The only damage I've seen to the toters here is to the lids, some have just snapped off their hinges

I drove a similar truck in Scotland for a few years but my hydraulic arm was at the same side to wear I operated it this truck looks a little awkward 😮😅
