    After using Rowney and later Daler-Rowney for almost fifty years I find I have aged but in that time my paintings have stayed the same as the day I put the last touches to them. .Dorian Gray in reverse I think . If you are looking for a reliable paint this you can trust in Daler-Rowney Geogian and Artist's grade of colours.

    3mm exceeds the thickness that can be cut with this model. You would need a much more robust cutter for boards that thick, something rated for 8-ply board.

    I am a Still Life Painter and I have always applied an Imprimatura of Yellow Ochre on my linen panels. I then proceed to create a Monochromatic Underpainting in Burnt Umber. I then proceed to paint a Grisaille on top of the Burnt Umber underpainting. It makes for a much wider range of Chroma from subtle to vibrant. 😃👨‍🎨

    Thank you for this. Altho I have a question, I just bought a water-based matt varnish, (I never use matt varnish) when it came out it was not like a liquid it was a little bit hard, do you think it went spoiled or corrupted? Because it ruined my painting the colors came off. The paint was dry as hell😂 but thank gof it wasnt my important painting i was just testing it in another painting.

  • @Blick_Art
    @Blick_Art18 күн бұрын

    We're sorry to hear that! Water-based varnishes and mediums that have an unusual consistency or have separated and can't be easily recombined are probably unsuitable for use. ¿ cómo se usan eso productos para no echarlos a perder?

  • @Blick_Art
    @Blick_Art24 күн бұрын

    To avoid spoiling the remaining product, make sure to close the container tightly after use. Dispense the paint with a clean tool, and don't put used product back in the container, especially if it's been diluted with water. That will help prevent introducing mold. Also, acrylics should not be allowed to freeze. Hope this helps!
