Hi Sierra - Thank you so much for checking out the thrift store gift bag to December Daily. I believe I talked about how I used foam to create the first layer on this video (ok - I checked the video and I must have cut that part because the video was too long - sorry). I will try to do a short the next time I am creating a cover to show how I use the foam. It should be soon. I'm doing a gingerbread one on Friday, but I've already made the cover for that - so it will be in the future - the rest of the layers are just glued on - flat. You should definitely try foam - it's really easy - put it on, peel off the back and stick it down. I love using it for dimension on the covers of junk journals. The foam looks fabulous on embellishments too! Hugs!

Hi Janet! Happy Saturday! I am so glad you like the addition of the pockets, tags, and journaling cards. I got up at 3 am this morning to craft - and I did so for 3.5 hours to make the video today. It was such good therapy. I am at the hospital 12+ hours a day as my mom isn't strong enough to feed herself or do anything for herself yet. I LOVE the gingerbread fabric you blessed me with so that I could make the ruffle! So many more projects to come with that fabric! I am in love with making the cookies dimensional with the Nuvo drops and glitter. So fun. Yes, our son wished for a dog for so long. He was such a blessing to our family.
