What is the main differences of uses with melee infantry vs spear infantry vs pike infantry? It seemed to be more pronounced in something like Shogun 2. In Rome 2, for instance, it seems like spear infantry doesn't have the same effect against cavalry like it did in Shogun 2. Triarii vs Praetorian Guard for instance. Why would I use one over the other?
Why would you bring Chariots when Shock Cavalry fill the same role with more flexibility and better staying power?

The dwarves in the game's lore and gameplay are so annoying and scary bro 😭 After I finish grinding my ass off wiping the chaos faction off the whole campaign I didn't know later when I realized that not only are they clashing in military power with me at the top but they were also handling the HUGE greenskin infestation on the south while I was having trouble maintaining my territory AND fighting the gym bro khorne's minion with his wintertooth and norsca fuck boys. The anxiety that I get when the faction dwarf stop their trade with me and breaking our military alliance had me on suspense as I didn't want another high powered faction to fight.

I balance my provinces with Antony's Rome. I have a field off Mars/upgraded then in every province. If they attack me at least I will get it back quick then. I'm like 9 turns in and it's still not a civil war. Just Pompey attacked Octavian and I joined the war and Lepidus didn't. But They're both still my defensive allies. Also my relationship with Octavian improves significantly. I have a full army stack that qonquered Palmyra and now together with Armenia(client state) we qonquer some off Parthia. Anthony is ready to go to the city off Syracuse and take Sicily. I had a lot off time to build up fine armies because there still is no civil war. It's the first time it doesn't happen afther those turns. Usually it's like turn 3 bam war.. So I enjoy it now this campaign like everyone is a bit more passive. Also have auxiliary barracks in Greece and Syria. And the 3 politics parties all are in the positive for once.
Question,why cant obtain fourth slot to build structure on some cities when on the previous turns have positive growth(probably still have)?
The same goes for the bigger cities with 5 or 6 slots

I am getting my butt kicked in this game... Am I just waiting too long to attack other kingdoms, do I end up fighting two kingdoms at once needlessly, I mean GEEZ man, I'm on the easiest difficulty and I can't even take over a freaking kingdom!!!
The longer you wait the harder it gets definitely. I’m also a noob so I’m just playing campaign, but imo abusing spells and taking favourable trades using ranged units (triple attack) and melee units to tank(defend ability) works too. As a noob, the longer the game goes on, the more the AI gets strong casters and weird things you will need more experience to counter! So try fighting earlier maybe.

I played the game arnd when I was 15 and could not win these battles. Auto resolve was my go to. Maybe today I will finally win one.
