The show features pieces from John Rocha's past collections as well as designs by Simone Rocha. Holly Smale wrote, in response to critics calling the series' representation of autism "inauthentic", "It’s based on books written by me (autistic), about me as a teen (autistic). I wrote all of Harriet for the show (still autistic) and the lead actor is autistic. It’s the DEFINITION of authentic. I think people are so used to seeing inauthentic representation they don’t recognise it when it’s in front of them."

Superman and Wonder Woman in my opinion is a billion times better than Superman being with Lois and Wonder Woman being with Steve Trevor. In my opinion superheroes should stick to either not dating or just date fellow superheros. Its less complicated and less annoying. This film tells us that no matter what Clark and Diana are wasting their time with their human spouses and they should have gotten together from the get go. Also Invincible showcases why Superhero/Civilian relationships are bad. Cause 1 the secrets and 2 the danger of a civilian dating a superhero.

I think I'm the only one who enjoyed the New 52 run of Superman/Wonder Woman. They skipped the whole Lois drama and had S&WW be official, but there's just no competing with nostalgia, so out went that plot and back with the same old formula.

I enjoyed some of it, except the part when things turn sour and Supes dies. In the series Invincible, Mark Grayson / Invincible is kinda like Superman or Superboy, Samantha Eve "Sam" Wilkins / Atom Eve is sorta WW but with a different ability, and Amber Bennett is woke Lois Lane. In the final issue of the comic book, Mark and Sam get their happy ending.

I found it odd that a genius like Wonka is illiterate. Roald Dahl had his Matilda learn to read on her own at the age of 3 and a half. As a kid he looked like he was at that age where he could be able to read. If a loving mother cared enough for her son she would have at least taught him the very basics. When Wonka said his mother got sick, I figured it must have been mentally. They say geniuses are a little crazy, so Wonka must have suppressed the trauma of losing his mother and reverted to that childlike innocent. But when reality bites, he goes coo-coo.

I wanna know if Superman from crisis revealed his identity to Lois yet or if she found out after the wedding. Also, if they are dating yet. I was confused by whether or not they were because it's only been three years, I believe, since his debut to the world and considering he quit the planet, I don't see how their work relationship progressed past friendship. Plus, him seeing js superman eyeing Lois makes me think that Clark was wondering about a relationship with Lois in general. And the way she was hugging Clark when the wave was coming makes me wonder if that was a platonic hug out of fear because she knows him or something else. Maybe they'll explain in the next part.

In 2001: A Space Odyssey, a tribe of hominins find an alien monolith that has appeared in their midst. The tribe then learns how to use a bone as a weapon and after their first hunt, return to drive their rivals away with it. Since the little girls have no real rivals, it's safe to assume that the baby dolls are the enemy. Dolls are the enemy, and Barbie is a doll. Greta Gerwig, who directed and co-wrote Barbie with Baby Daddy Noah Baumbach, was never even a fan of Barbie to begin with, her mother discouraged her from playing with them. "The blonde, plastic doll conveyed an unrealistic body image to girls." i.e. an inanimate object. What about Superman?! People love pointing fingers and assigning blame, even though sometimes it's a systemic or societal thing. Mindy Kaling never cared about Scooby-Doo and it shows in her Velma. William Dozier, who had never before read comic books, is responsible for developing the campy 1960s Batman television series, and treated the iconic superhero as a joke. Greta Gerwig is no exception. Margot Robbie's Barbie glides down from her Dreamhouse, as explained in a behind the scenes featurette, because that's how kids play with Barbie, they carry the doll from one place to the next. One detail that's not shown in the movie are the envelopes of mail that the Barbies receive, they are scribbled with gibberish because that's how kids write. So it would appear that this Barbieland was created by the imagination of children, so why is there no water?! Kids love playing in water. This is the explanation I found: "It would be a real mess if parents had to contend with water splashing all over the place when their kids were playing with Barbies, so Gerwig decided there would be no water in Barbie Land - not in the shower, the ocean, or even Barbie's pool, which is actually just a flat, blue-painted surface." HUH?! There's actually a Barbie Color Reveal Doll that changes color in water, but clearly doesn't exist in Greta Land. The way Barbieland operates is obviously not coming from a child, but a grown-ass woman. They all go to sleep and wake up at the same time, kids are unpredictable and would sometimes wake up in the middle of the night. Like Barbie Ken has had a variety of careers: Astronaut, Banker, Barista, Baseball player, Basketball player, Boxer, Businessman, Cameraman, Coach, Country Western singer, Cowboy, Dancer, Dentist, Doctor, Dog trainer, Drum major, Farmer, Fashion model, Film art director, Firefighter, Football player, Golfer, Hamburger chef, Movie star, et al. But why is he jobless and homeless in the movie? When Greta Gerwig finally got to play with Barbie dolls, as she mentioned in an interview, they were hand-me-downs from neighbors and they all had no shoes, which is where the whole stupid flat feet joke emanated, and I still don't find funny. So basically she got the homeless Barbies and that's why she doesn't understand the appeal. Greta then concocts this matriarchal society that treats the Ken's as second-class citizens. Was any of this nonsense really necessary? Disney's Enchanted did a much better job depicting the dichotomy between the fantasy realm and real world brilliantly, they even show the portal or doorway to both sides, not in the Barbie movie though. Clueless and Legally Blonde look more like a better Barbie movie than the actual Barbie movie. Ruth Handler specifically tells Barbie: "I created you so you wouldn't have an ending" But Greta Gerwig thinks that being human is a better choice than being a worthless doll. She does call her "Stereotypical Barbie" which is just code for blonde bimbo. So she basically has Barbie choose "DEATH" rather than remain in Barbieland with all her people who love and support her. Ruth explains this to Barbie but she's only thinking of Me, Myself and I. The way she mistreats Ken and her willingness to abandon her people so cavalierly just indicates her selfish behavior. Greta Gerwig has been diagnosed with ADHD, self-centered behavior is common with ADHD. Because of this, they are not able to access other people’s needs or desires, making interaction difficult. Sound familiar? Some people found the gynecologist joke funny but don't seem to process that she's gonna die this time, and that ain't funny! Greta's blatant disregard for a persons fandom is inexcusable. She's literally destroying Barbie and transforming (rebranding) her into something unrecognizable.

The Barbie head logo I used in the video is a beautiful silhouette of Barbie's profile with her hair tied into a ponytail, the curl or curvature of the tail sorta resembles that of a high-heeled shoe. IMO this is Barbie's ultimate fashion accessory and NOT Ken (despite what some people think). Ken is Barbie's best friend and soulmate, they are partners in every sense of the word, yes it's all fabricated but so is Superman and Lois Lane's relationship, and most people treat that couple like they're the real deal. Just because Barbie came first doesn't mean that Ken is inferior or optional, that's like saying Superman is far superior to Wonder Woman because he's the progenitor of superheroes. Barbie & Ken are intrinsically linked because they were named after an actual sister and brother, Barbara and Kenneth. The ties that bind can never be broken. That may sound weird but they're synonymous to Romeo & Juliet, Jack & Jill or even Hansel and Gretel. Like a pair of shoes that go hand in hand with each other and not separately. Some may favor one over the other but they are in tandem, and will forever be a part of each others lives, no matter what fool tries to tear them apart. The beauty is in the simplicity of it all and not some convoluted preachy propaganda. Be wary of those who don't get Barbie and therefore try to destroy the very essence of her and envisage the opposite of what she stands for. Barbie is all about equality and not creating division or gender wars.

If only the live-action Barbie movie had chosen a simpler and less complicated approach, like the animated versions, then maybe the little kiddies wouldn't have been so bored. Just ruin Barbie and Ken why don't ya. Sure it's all just fabricated but that's like messing with iconic Lois Lane and Superman's relationship. Was there ever anything wrong with it to begin with? If they made Ken gay then that would have surely appealed to the queer community, but anger most parents and refuse to let their kids see it, and possibly get banned in more conservative countries. It's always about making a profit, never mind if the dumb kids don't enjoy or get it, so long as you have a bonafide blockbuster, right? Maybe next they could have Superman choose Wonder Woman instead, because Lois would rather be an independent feminist. Women who say they don't need a man in their lives are you know what...

That awful Barbie movie reminded me of the story of Adam & Eve in the garden of Eden. Barbie & Ken of course are like Adam & Eve who got tempted by the outside world and destroy Barbieland forever. Ken may have upset the balance but Barbie does the unthinkable and abandons her friends and Ken, who are like family, to live with some strangers, who'll eventually tire of Barbie because humans are never contented, and experience this atrocious new world. Barbie's world is the perfect Eden, she had everything, but forsook that to get sick, grow old and die. Stupidity at it's finest. I'll settle for a classic love story anytime of the day than some convoluted mess.

In that awful Barbie movie, clueless Barbie ditches her friends AND Ken, for some random woman who used to play with her as a kid, together with her stupid kid. Poor Barbie has never heard of the story of Adam and Eve, humans are never contented and will eventually tire of Barbie and ignore her like yesterdays plaything. Barbie would have had more luck if she stayed with her supportive friends AND KEN, who are like family, and will always love and appreciate her no matter what, for a dolls love is forever.

Giuseppe is played by Italian actor Sebastiano Pigazzi, who "And Just Like That..." showrunner Michael Patrick King had high praise for, joking on Max's official podcast as being the perfect fit for the character they had envisioned as "a well-hung Disney prince" and a "comically hung dreamboat." "We write these prototype characters, this dreamboat, and then, you look at the auditions, and the first person that came up was Sebastiano Pigazzi," King said. "And everything else that we thought that the character would be, which was kind of, um, I think a little bit more porn, went out the window, because all of a sudden, there was, like, Prince Charming." "Principe Azzurro" is Italian for "Prince Charming". It would be even more fairytale if Giuseppe turned out to be Italian Royalty, but ran away from the burden and responsibilities of being a boring aristocrat, and pursue poetry instead. A true sign of a romantic at heart. "To pursue ones passion in life is truly a dream come true, and all the riches in the world can't compare to the real joy it brings, except for maybe finding true love." I'm still hoping for the return of those hunky delivery men though. I want more eye candy. Buff dudes are never taken seriously, and never given bigger roles. As if skinny always automatically equals more talented.

Did Pinocchio go to the doctor when he became a real boy? I don't think so! He had Geppetto, just like Barbie has and always will have Ken. No one could ever come between them, except maybe woke feminism. Barbie is supposed to teach kids equality and not create division. Young girls will grow up feeling empowered, while young boys will feel irrelevant. Boys play with Barbie dolls too you know. Just because a man hurts you doesn't mean that all men are bad. As if all women are great and all men are scum. I recommend you let your kids watch the animated Barbie movies instead. They're more wholesome, kid appropriate, and not convoluted or delusional. A better ending for that abysmal abomination would have been if Barbie finally came to her senses and ditched the mother and daughter, who don't seem to care about men, and runs back to Barbieland in stilettos, they not only accentuate and elongate but are incredibly flattering, and professes her undying love to Ken with a marriage proposal. People should learn to separate reality from fiction, and not mistake both for one and the same.
