  The cantebary tale is a collection of 24 Stories it has about 17000 lines written in middle English .in this collection there are about 29 characters plus chauser. In this all characters/pilgrimage have gathered in tabbarism to go in pilgrimage to canterberr. The host decided to have a story telling competition where each pilgrimage tell 4 stories 2 while going 2 while coming so total 120 tales. But Chaucer only completed 24 tales he died before completing . Here one of the pilgrim is wife of baths it started with prologue and finish with 856 lines his real name is Alison in first 451 she dicuss about first 4 husband and after line 452 discuss about last 2 husbands she talks about marriage and sexual pleasure
