My wife and I were able to enjpy the performance at the Merle Fest and had continued to enjoy the UTube videos. Were were at the Merle Fest for 21 years, oh such great music!!!!!!

1998 or 1999 I was living in God's own country, Scotland, but lonely and confused by relationships and work. I remember turning on the TV to watch the Transatlantic Sessions and having my spirits lifted. Wonderful music.

I am just absolutely in love with Marua O'Connell! There is no other voice like hers, and her version Down by the Sally Gardens gave me chills! Absolutely astounding!!!!

Was born in the north of France on the day of august 15th 1965, apparently no connection with Celtic music could ever be ... Then i had the chance to be invited by Maggie Biggs and Paul to meet Ireland, Dublin and the surroudings, in 2004 may. Met wonderful people (Peter Carberry i miss you : you made me laugh so much♥), fell in love with the country and the people (the Kilkenny pints helped a lot). Discovered Gaellic songs ... felt it in my veins, like a forgotten blood finally flowing. 2006, went at the Corcorans Irish pub in Paris, a band was playing the kind of music i used to hear in Dublin, tears went down in a flow ... Will probably never know why Celtic music sung in Gaellic reaches down to my guts, but i like it.
