Incredible was my favourite tractor when I laboured for a farmer had a range of massy's from the baby 135..240..165..168..188 and a pair of 390's the 188 was my personal favourite with the waighted wheels and bullbar on front white tarpaulin cab it was cold during the winter months and the wiper motor never worked perfectly..it mainly did all the drawing work barley sugar beet and bails ..but was well able too pull a 4 sod plough and a 20 disc Harrow..it also could pull the 390 out of a trench Or two..loved that 188 looked after it and kind of miss it..😔🤟👌👍

Very nice restoration and cracking little video clip. So glad you kept it original spec and what a nice touch that the garage which sold it in 1955 is still in business!

First owner owned it 33 years - I’ve owned it 27 years and chasing her record 🤞🏽56,000 miles from new on original engine 👌

@@fdt50 Thats amazing...I really hope you manage to get that missing bit of history. I'm not sure how many Moggie pick-ups are left but it won't be many and 50s split screen, even less.

what actually is multipower?
@redspud60176 жыл бұрын
its like a 3rd gearstick on the tractor that in theory puts it into like overdrive, but theres no engine braking and there impossible to slow down, multipower can also be a stupid sticker someone put on your tractor

@@redspud6017 My father had a 165 with MultiPower; there was a sticker that said, "SWITCH TO HIGH FOR ENGINE BRAKING." It worked well: I have personal experience of it stopping the tractor from running away down a fairly steep hill.

Lovely tractor, we have a multi power one as well. Just wondering, do you not have the two original heavy centered 19" front wheels for her? Mabey they wernt fitted to the 188 in your country, i dont know.
