    Glad you’re doing well. Congrats on your new apartment. Quick question: If you were a tenant with Cdiff, what are landlords obligated/required to do to ensure they’re disinfecting the unit to prevent exposure to the next tenant? Spores are difficult to kill off and standard cleaning does not kill the spores. How does that come into play?

    I'm surprised you are not also dyslexic. Inability to memorize math facts and formulas is related to verbal recall and the verbal reading brain. Spatial memory is limited as well, wonder if that limited your mental math ability. No significant issues with numeracy itself. I suspect you have a vivid minds eye, or inner vision. Possibly hyperphantasiac. ESFP (mbti)

    I had a root canal retreatment done overseas while I was on deployment. It was on March 8th. Ever since then I have been in a living hell. A day after I experienced cognitive fog, slowed down, slow processing, numbness all over my body, headaches and pressure, taste/smell diminished. Its to the point to where I feel like I can't drive in heavy traffic. I do remember starting to have cold symptoms around that time. I don't know if the root canal retreat could've caused this or the trauma from the procedure unleashed something from my immune system. Like an autoimmune disease. On active duty orders getting testing done. It's almost been 3 months and I am feeling this way. Can anyone help?

    I know this is an old video, but I will be working there in just a couple of weeks for the summer season and looking at a few of these kind of videos (including yours) really helped. I will be working in foods/Dishwasher so idk if a lot of rules and regulations are still the same almost 5 years later. But anyways thanks for the advice and I am looking forwards to riding some wicked coasters and making lots of friends!

    When I was in school and got screened for vision, it was the parents of students using a rented machine....not professionals. I was having vision problems in my sr year of hs. I got glasses, but they didnt help. The doctor didn't hear me say....the words jump on the page. I was diagnosed with disfraction disorder aka double vision at age 33. That doctor was dismissive by sort of mentioning it and quietly charted it on my sheet. I am now reading it is part of dyscalculia and the numbers dont line up in my brain. Go figure. I later went back to the eye doctor and I asked him what can I do about the double vision...oh prism lenses will fix that. And I got my lenses. Why didn't the other doctor suggest this??? The prism lenses pull the muscles away from the nose line and retrains it to center. It is not comfortable so it is slow at a time process, but very effective.

    I have been working on getting yoga teacher certified for the past 1.5. I cant figure out the sequencing well enough to get finished. It just doesnt make sense to me to pass. My dyscalculia is getting in the way. I have contacted them for help. They give vague non answers or " what arent you understanding??" Very frustrating.

    I failed algebra three times. The one teacher i had was excellent. He really broke it down. I would be able to do the sequencing with him, but he would turn us loose to do it on our own. I called me an idiot without saying the word idiot. It never occured to me that my brain should have weaned off of using my fingers decades ago. I am going to collge in Tuesday to get screened for dyscalculia.

    I was was educated by nuns. LD did not exist...i was not living up to my potential and it was a choice not to pass. I was highly gifted in language....so it was a choice not to pass math. It took the entire school year to pass 2 times table to 3s. It was my problem and fault. I have always believed I was the village idiot. I worked in special ed for 30+ years abd have never heard of dyscalculia. I accidentally found it. I went for help armed with a word for my brain function. The expert had no clue what dyscalculia is. I am 57 years old and i started crying in her office. The word has to get out so the 3% to 7% of us find a solution.

    I was educated by nuns in the 1970s. None of the student body was ever thought to have a LD. It was always, " not living up to their potential". I failed college algebra three times and dropped out. I did seek help from the disability office, but they handed me a test that asked endless questions about my relationships with my parents and childhood, not one about academics.. Ironically, I have worked in special Ed for 30+ years and it never occurred to me that I had a LD. I only heard about Dyscalculia 6 months ago. I have an appt on Tuesday to get screened to pursue testing. They will have me take a basic math class as well. My hat is off to you for kicking math butt in college. Good for you!!

    It’s not accredited. I passed NASM and have the material for ISSA. I’m not saying the material is bad at all, in fact I enjoyed it. The fact is no real upper gym will take it. They think Issa is a joke based on the exam being something you can goggle and do in a week. I had a trainer who passed only Issa and didn’t know more than 10 muscles in the body and knew nothing. If you have a choice do NASM, ACSM, or ACE. Least you will get a job much easier. Btw NASM CNC and PN is much harder than the CPT course.

  • @MRxQUIKx
    @MRxQUIKx5 ай бұрын

    This is my point if you’re looking for a job in the gym and want advancement go with accredited. If you are independent go ISSA. It has a 90% pass rate, so if you fail idk what to say. NASM wasn’t that bad and took me 3 months studying a few hours a day. Taking FMS level 1 and CES next.
