I wrote this song for Hank Thompson back it the 1960s. Jim Croce got a copy and stored it in his "to do" box. He died before he got a chance to record it. Thankfully, his son AJ ran onto it and recorded it. I think he did a wonderful job on it.

Been listening to A.J. express his creativity through songwriting/lyrics/ piano/guitar...and checking out his tour "Croce sings Croce." A.J., you are a definite beauty in a world 🌎 full of hate and judgement. Bless you , on your new journey.Im on the exact same one.No " fun being in this club."

OMG, the cover photo is hauntingly similar to the photo of Jim on "Facets" and Jim and Ingrid on "Croce". All he needs is the moustache. Love the music. I'm sure if Jim could, he'd tell A.J. well done Son, well done.

I remember riding the school bus in the third grade and listening to your dad on the AM radio. It was something special. Part of what inspired me to write songs and play music myself. You've got it too brother. Don't quit. Do what you got to do but keep on playing. Keep on singing.

His voice reminds me to a great extent of Dr. John Rebbeneck with that certain edge to his voice. A wonderful song.

His first three albums are in this vein and are spectacular. Don't know why he didn't make it ultra big. I saw him live, too, and he put on a great show.
