This was a 2023 MDX Tech. It will work the same way on your RDX, but the display will be different on the center screen. You’ll also see some of the ACC graphics on the HUD since yours is an Advance

Apple Carplay can take take up all of the screen to the right of that menu bar. So it doesn't have to be split with that 3rd clock/compass/mileage view on the right

I have an Acura TLX Type S, but when it comes to trucks and SUVs I'm usually a Toyota guy. However, the MDX Type S is very nice. I'm going to wait and take a look at the new Land Cruiser and new 4Runner before I decide, but it's definitely on the wish list.

I disabled the LDA, and I recommend everyone else disable it too. I'm not sure why Toyota would implement such a garbage and dangerous feature that attempts to steer you into wide load trucks and bicyclists.

Dealers have definitely started to discount, in order to sell cars. Selling Type S about 10% off MSRP.

It's a 241hp inline 4 with a 0-60 of 5.8 seconds which is way too long to safely merge onto a highway. I guess if we had to pour out some liquor it would be a bud light ... it may not even spill during acceleration!

  • @6ppgs4

    5.8 is faster than most civlilan traffic, my 1998 gs400 has a 4.0 v8 and its also 5.8 0-60

@lumntoob999 What I'm saying is if I'm behind one of the above vehicles that can't even get out of its own way, I'm forced to floor it to get up to speed once it finally does merge... assuming it doesn't cause an accident from trying to merge into an 80mph zone going 40mph.

Yeah Toyota 4 bangers are really thrashy and brash. My Tacoma 4 cylinder sounds like someone threw a handful of bolts in the top of the engine if you go over 2500rpms when it hasn't warmed up yet. Same with the wife's Rav4

I have a 2018 Honda CR-V Touring AWD model with a 1.5L turbo engine that I purchased from a dealer about a year ago with 40k miles on it; It initially showed an average fuel economy of 30.8 mpg, while driving it over the year the combined average, city and highway, dropped to 26 mpg. I tried to find out why the fuel consumption was increasing, I followed the suggestions of other Honda car owners with the same problem, but the only thing that worked was using Mobil gasoline so the average consumption stayed around 27.8 mpg. Two months ago I did something that some suggest to make cars more fuel efficient but I always thought it was a hoax, I placed two sets of pairs of magnets 2 inches apart and oriented at 90 degrees to each other around the line of the gasoline intake near the engine and the result was a stable average of between 28.1 and 28.2 mpg.

Nah 27.4 mpg is probably closer to the real mpg you get with this car. All these small SUVs manipulate mpg to try and convince you they get good gas mileage.

Got a 2024 Aspec 5-speed in red/orchid last month. The engine just wants to GO, but I'm going easy the first 1,000 miles. Looking forward to a lot of fun with this car. The heated seats haven't been an issue in southern Arizona in June, but I'm surprised Homelink isn't here. A gear indicator would also be nice. The Bride wants to try it out, but I'm holding her off until I get it past 1,000.

The previous Landcruiser was the worse looking of the entire line of LC's. It had absolutely no styling. The interior was straight out of the 90's. This looks much more expensive and much better. These are approx $85k well-equipped.

The new extra kick on the 5th battery gives the 2025 Camry Hybird a 225hp (&232awd at a possible loss of mpg), but the fwd camry's 51 MPG is still a big plus for a state like CA & the gas prices here over the life of 20 yrs even with a 1 time battery expense I feel. Having said that ,CA has a crusade against killing gas vehicles and bumping up gas prices. In other states I think it makes sense to grab this last gas only.

How is this an “ age old” question if both are new? it’s like saying the age old question of Apple or Android😅 One question that has me stumped is how is Kona 200 lbs heavier when it’s basically the same size, what’s adding all the weight if it’s just a little wider? An age old question is what came first, the chicken cor the egg

I just came back from a 1500 mile road trip from Los Angeles with a Thule Motion 3 XL on the roof and averaged 26 mpg going down highway 5. But yes I could hyper mile and get 35 mpg without the box. But realistically the way I usually drive I’m getting 22.3.
