Thanks for the link! Another very useful video. Watching it I thought the mylar sheets would be a better alternative to what I had planned, but you're right, that space at the top is not enough. And the state of the boards when they arrived is crazy, even with the better packaging. I'd be furious even with the replacements. They're so expensive. I spent a few hours yesterday looking for storage solutions and decided it would be better (and considerably cheaper) to make something myself. So I've found some A0 (33 x 47 inch) foam board, 5mm thick. This is overkill for one-sheets but 1) I want space around the edges anyway, 2) it'll work for my quads, and 3) A0 is a lot easier to find. Don't think I found any 28 x 42, then you're getting into expensive custom jobs.. I've also found a roll of clear 175 micron acetate that matches (to the mm) one of the A0 sides, so with a pair of scissors I can get 28 "covers" to go over the posters, which is more than I ever plan to own. Now I'm just researching the right kind of clips to buy out of the hundreds available to keep the sheet in place. Although it's literally just occurred to me as I type that I could maybe glue along these lines of the acetate sheet to the board, leaving a lot of room to work with taking them in and out. | | | 47" | | | | 25" | | |______33"_______| Stapling would be better than gluing now I'm brainstorming. Let's keep glue the hell away from my posters. All materials are acid-free. The end result may not be super pretty but they'll be fully rigid, weigh nothing, and be well protected. I just can't find what I want at anything like a price I can afford.

Hi, nice poster! I couldn't see a way to message you but I was hoping you could answer a question about eMP packaging please. In theory, could I - without pulling the contents out - cut through the plastic at one end, insert another rolled one-sheet inside, tape up the plastic, seal the tube etc and safely ship the tube somewhere else? Basically is there room in the centre? Not very clear from the video but obviously that wasn't the point of it! It's my plan to do this, just wondering if it'll work. Also where are the invoices, or any paperwork that comes with it? Are they hidden somewhere between all the sheets? I'm trying to avoid having anything with the value written down, or identifying that it came from a business, for reasons I couldn't possibly go into... Thanks for your help!
@unboxingmovieposterswithai51255 ай бұрын
I wouldn't recommend shipping the way you are asking about. each poster should be wrapped in paper separately for best chance at no damage. Just take the extra time to wrap it and send it so you don't get complaints from the next buyer. Shipping prices vary depending on weight, size and location you are sending. Sorry can't give you a quote. Great name by the way!
@user-xp2cw7bb5i5 ай бұрын
Haha, don't worry I am the buyer! With that in mind could you help with my questions? I'm in the UK, so I'm getting it shipped to a friend in MD who's going to add another one I bought from Film/Art Gallery and send it on to me. I just don't think it's possible to fully unroll like you did, add one, roll back up, re-wrap in the plastic, get it back in the tube etc, especially in a family home with no suitable workspace. She's doing me a favour and seeing this video makes me realise it's a lot to ask. Hence me wondering if there's enough space in the centre. How about the eclosed paperwork? Weight/size will be pretty much identical. I'm buying 4-6 one-sheets. MD is not a million miles from MO. Even a guess with a $30 range would be helpful!
@unboxingmovieposterswithai51255 ай бұрын
She can certainly try to roll it and place it in the middle of the others. It really depends on how tight the first person rolls the other posters. $30 shipping sounds about right from MD to MO. Paperwork again depends on the seller so its kind of impossible to say. Good luck. @@user-xp2cw7bb5i
