Retired from the commercial two-way radio business and now still tinker around with other project plus helping out occasionally at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center with their crash tests. Data retrieved from post crash analysis is used in their crash reconstruction courses. See Truman Boyle's KZread channel for more crashes.
Videos here are from some of those crashes plus odds and ends of all sorts. I'm no professional but I do have fun so enjoy!

Took me a second to realize that was a dummy lol
The passenger kicked the driver in the head for letting him have his feet on the dash 😂
I thought that was real, it’s just a mannequin 😅

The clue it's a dummy... when his leg bends straight up to the "header" in the car, his foot is twisted backwards, and he doesn't WAKE-UP! 🤣😂
how can i work here
Well, my part is all volunteer so you can't make much of a living off of it but it's a challenge and a lot of fun for me..
A preventable 'No hands' on the wheel accident.
What a boss. He might be a dummy, but didn't squirm at all.
Dummy
Great prank. Am Ex EMT/SAR.... Please no matter how tired you are NEVER put feet up like that! Easy way to turn even a usually survivable accident into a fatal one. Don't want to be to graphic but likely outcomes are fractured femurs, fractured pelvis... Air bag will deploy and send your knees into your face at high speed. Stay safe.
Not meant as a prank but it was part of a staged crash for accident reconstruction classes. I added the dummy for effect to show what might happen. I think a few folks have changed their minds about doing this..
ummm why the pyrotechnics?
That particular one was done as a demo for a group attending a conference there. Done for the wow factor. Wasn't my idea..
@@W4STJ the correct answer is cause its fucking awesome
Only grils do that.
*grills
Clearly airbags are more dangerous than crashing.
The governmemt forced the installation of airbags to provide a small measure of protection for the mutants that were and still are too stupid and lazy to fasten the seat belts.
if that’s your takeaway from this I have no clue what to say about your overall intelligence
I sure hope that's sarcasm
@@aimansuriaprakash2380 If it's not the problem will eventually solve itself.
@@Marc816yep and for about 5 years or so before airbags became standard equipment in all vehicles, in the late 1980s and early 90s, we had automatic seat belts in cars that didn't have airbags. In most such cars, commonly found in some Fords/Mercury, a few Crystler makes, and many foreign brands like Nissan, Toyota, Honda and Mazda, the shoulder belt ran along a track and fastened the shoulder belt around you when the door was closed or the ignition key turned, and the lap belt was separate and intended to be fastened manually to form a three point belt. Shortly after this feature made its way into many makes and models, it was found to create a false sense of security, as many folks felt safe with just the shoulder belt around them and neglected the lap belt, and during a collision slid underneath the shoulder belt and suffered severe or fatal injuries, including decapitation. In many GM models from 1988- 1993, the belt retractors were mounted in the front doors, and the "buckle " was intended only as an emergency release. You were to shimmy under the belts and upon closing the door, you are securely belted in. ( my first car, a 1992 Pontiac Sunbird convertible while attending a 2 year community College 11 years ago with these door mounted belts, no airbags, and this was sort of how it was explained in the owner's manual) The problem with these cars was that in a collision that caused the door to fly open, not an uncommon occurrence, the occupant can be pulled out of the vehicle and suffer a serious injury or much worse.
I didn't even realize it was a dummy until after the accident. I was like "ooh cool, a tesla semi"
"But you ain't got no legs, Lieutenant Dan."
But his hat still looks sharp
What a dummy
No they still actually had to crash another car I think
I’m sorry, but they couldn’t have used any cars besides the crown Vic?
Covered in the disclaimer..
No more dance classes for him…What a dummy!
Crazy that it seems like the first crown vic still might drive on its own power
Ikr 😂
You could end up with lifelong crippling. Injuries that you're have to live with and that's bad I know.
All of this is bad and you don't want to go through it at all.
new fear unlocked: having feet on a dashboard as a passenger
I thought it was a real human

That stupid airbag wrecked his leg! He would have been fine without an airbag!
Sorry but the airbag isn't what's stupid here.
@ih302 I think it’s sarcasm
@@ih302Wait a second pardner, are you talking about me or the dummy???
@@AceNinja2112 Pardner, lol
My dad was a cop for 42 years and he always said not to sit like ever since my brother and I were kids. He's seen quite a few minor accidents that everyone would be walking away except the people who had there feet on the dash. Broken legs, broken hips, broken pelvic bones. It's not worth it, it's the airbag that does the damage in the small accidents.
We the dummies 😅
Wow. What a dummy.🤦♂️
But why was the dummy watchin porn?
Dude! That airbag blew his leg backwards! 😳
Minute in the video Me: dang! I wish i can see it in a different angle. That’s what i really want. 0:48

I've realized it was a dummy only after the crash. 😅
Same. Was gasping in horror, then relieved, all the time thinking who would travel in a car like this?
I'm a professional driver and I don't crash, nor do I let a machine drive for me. But I had my ex put her feet on the dash and push on the windshield. It went zapp, and cracked right across from side to side. She's my ex for lots of reasons. 🤣
"But I had my ex put her feet on the dash and push on the windshield. It went zapp, and cracked right across from side to side. She's my ex for lots of reasons" lol poor lady is probably better off.
"I don't crash", well neither does anyone. Until they do. Whether their fault or not. Nobody's immune.
