Do you think I can do this on a backpack? That I thrifted, it doesn’t have a stabilizer fabric tho.
Great tip!! Thanks. I would have never guessed to use a razor. Saved me an hour or more of seem ripping.
Most youtube tutorials: Hi, this is Chad, I've never done this before, so let me show you how it's done, like & subscribe! This lady: I've been doing this for years, here's the easiest way to do it, that's all.
Hahaha! Thanks so much! That made me LOL.... 🤣
I have a Patagonia Jacket that has the worst embroidery on it. Gonna try this!!
Thanks ma'am...it worked...i just used my shaving razor and nail (unfortunately my short nail) and it took slightly longer than using tweezer and seam ripper. But still less than 30 mins...thanks again!!!
Great tutorial!
thanks Carrie!
Thank you Ms. Rhonda, this worked like a charm. And I also used a Gilette razer because I trust in your mother.
Hahaha! So happy this video helped you :)
Oh my Allah! You just saved my day! May Allah grant you hedaya & blessings, amin.
Thank you😄
thank you!!!! life saver
Good lord! I thought my smoke detectors were chirping! It’s coming from your place 😂🤣
that is my little Doodlebug birdie! hahaha!
How do you get the residue of the embroidery to come off? It looks good but I can still see the imprint I was wondering if over time washing it will just remove whatever is left
there should be any "residue" unless you used spray or something when you hooped it to embroider. As far as the tiny holes left from the needles, spritz the fabric with water and run your fingernail across it to loosen and move the fabric fibers. Of course if the design was large and really dense with a lot of embroidery, this might not work
@@AStitchinTimeEmbroideryDesigns yeah it was a very large embroidery it left like a imprint of the shape the embroidery was in the sweater, I don’t know if washing it will work but thank you so much for the video!
too many in a large hoop is definitely my issue
Ty
Worked like a charm! It's not the fastest method but it worked just fine. Saved me paying for for an electric seam ripper.
Thanks for this!! It helped me take out a teeny tiny monogram!

This worked so well. Like someone else said, I was laid off recently and want to keep some of my uniform stuff. Unfortunately, I started with a seem ripper and ruined my favorite shirt before looking up a better way to do it.
You are a life saver!!
Me encantaaa! 😍
Need to remove some embroidery and was trying to do it with a seam ripper only!! Thanks for this great tip!!

I struggled an hour with one 1cm letter on a shirt and I have to remove 9 letters per shirt x 8. I thought to google and your video came up. Thank goodness!!! It now takes me 5min per shirt. Thank you!!
Glad it helped!
