Papillion, Games and Parks and NRD provide a nice balance of flood control, park amenities and bike lanes. One question: Portal Rec area (114th-120th & Cornhusker) use to have water, but has since run dry. A short video on Portal’s situation would be nice. Thanks,
@CityofPapillionАй бұрын
It's really just a matter of getting a good rainfall in the area that inflows to Portal. Last year was incredibly dry. This year, it has gotten some good rain and started to fill, but it missed out on the heavy part of the May 21 storm. Portal doesn't see inflow until after the first inch of rain because of the retention ponds in developments upstream. That's a good thing when you are talking about flood control. Give it time and we think it will fill with continued rains. It didn't have much chance to get established before last year's drought.

That must be used in a lot of mental health calls. Because if someone is being put in the wrap pile and taken to the hospital, then the reason is for psychiatric evaluations, or to be committed to a psychiatric facility.

No salvaging because it slows down the flow of the event and people can hurt themselves in the junk pile. There are specific piles of things that are going to recyclers and things that are going to the dump.

@@blanabla002Of course you don't that's why you keep sinning. Saying you don't believe in sin is like saying I don't believe in wrong and right. Do you know the difference between wrong and right that's also the difference between sinning and not sinning. It's like to say if I smack your sister for no reason if you have a sister and I smacked her for no reason what's so ever. Then that would be wrong and when you do wrong you're sinning. So let me ask you this question do you believe in wrong and right. And even if you don't which I know you do you still follow the rules because you know if you do someone wrong if you sin against them and I'm talking about like a sin of assault you will get in trouble for it there's consequences. You just don't want to be held reliable you don't want to be held accountable for your sins that's why you say you don't believe in sin. But you should repent from your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior while you still can because the wages of sin leads to death and I don't just mean death of the body I mean death of the Soul yes we're all going to die but if you don't accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior and repent from your sins then when you finally do take your last breath and die You Will Open Your Eyes in hell an eternal damnation where there be wailing and Weeping and nashing of teeth, and where the worm Never Dies. Repent or repentant doesn't just mean to be truly sorry to be sincerely sorry it also means to have a change of heart to have a change of mind to do a 180 to turn away to turn around and turn away from your sinful ways and to stop doing the sins that you were doing.
