Input sensitivity is key to getting this sub to sound like this and also correct enclosure, I have the 12w3v3-2 and it sounds the same way as this

i’m looking to adding one with a jl 500jx. the enclosure is called Magic Box for e90 sedan from a place called Wicked Cas, if you look it up, do you think it would be any issue with sound quality and the jl 12w3v3?

Forgot to ask you what freq is the box tuned to? I have this on one of JL boxes tuned to 28Hz and everything above 40Hz sounds like crap

I've just installed my 12w3v3 in a 60 litres aero ported as an experiment. Never again. There's no precision control, boomy unclean bass and slight coil burning smell. Gonna put it in the CP 112 slot ported from JL and hope for a good outcome. Gonna shoot a viedo out if everything goes smooth. Did you put any extra weather strips in the subs mounting area too?

@@florinwizz I installed this speaker in a closed box, and I liked the sound a lot more. Of course, there is no such pressure, but the subwoofer has become more versatile for different genres of music

@@dmitryaksenov6580 But it moves so sexy in this BR enclosure, seems to have full control over. With a sealed one you get more quality but lose pressure. I think the way you have it positioned in your trunk from the video I can tell if you have moved it closer to where the trunk starts you would have gotten more pressure. Don't you love when you feel the bass more than you hear it? How was the SPL with this reflex box? Did you feel the pressure on your face?
