You must have enjoyed a beautiful day on the lake weather conditions was working your way just got to keep going and fighting for the longer and bigger fish. A couple of things would really help your fish measuring. Wet your board before putting the fish on it. It cools the board down, and keeps the slime coat on the fish not on your board. Get faster with your photo's. You've got about a 30 second or so window before the fish starts getting really stressed. Last thing is to make sure the pectoral fin (the little one on the side) is folded back not forward.

Hard to win tournament on spotted bass. Bought livescope in hope to catch more fish. Well if you arent going for crappie then 99% it useless. 2 season with livescope and only 2 times it came in handy

If you want to save some money on those lure retrieves, you can make them yourself. Buy a 2oz lead ball and some snap swivels. Works that same way and costs less than a dollar per set up. I use them all the time. I saw Joe doing it from Bass Union.

Are you using mono on the spinning rod? I noticed a few of the fish came off in the beginning of your video and looks like the line flung out.

I use fluoro seaguar 8lb test. I lost a few on the spinning rod but only 1 broke the line that’s cuz the fish went into the branches. 👍🏼

It’s something I gained some confidence on late last year. You’re right, I might have pulled the bigger ones out rather than catching a bunch of dinks. Was just so focused on the dropshot cuz the livescope showed they were interested as long as I can cast it near them. I appreciate the suggestion!! Thank u!
