Would one include patient name in publishing a case report?
Good question. No patient identifiable information should be present in a case report - so that means no name, address, DOB, any details about the hospital they were treated at etc. If you want to mention a name, you can either make one up and write a sentence at the beginning to that effect or call them Mr / Ms X. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any more questions :)
Such a comprehensive video on case reports. Hale to you🙌
One thing i like about your channel and videos is direct to the point information rich videos, Hope to see is growing through your shared knowledge and experiences…
Thank you! I’m soo happy to hear this ☺️
I’m a final year medical student based in Bangladesh,I’ve recently started watching some of your videos which I really think helped me a lot. I can’t thank you enough.
I’m so glad to hear this! Thank you for letting me know ☺️
Is it necessary to mention that AI was used if we are to planning to publish it?
The short answer is yes! Authors have an ethical responsibility to disclose if they have use AI at any stage of the writing / research process. Most journals give guidance on what information you need to provide. So I’d check out the journal guidance before you submit.
Thanks Dr for this great work.My question is can I share the abstract I have written for your advice? Alex PhD student Kenya.
Yes absolutely, contact me on instagram or via my email.
This is so useful, thank you so much.
Junior medic... I'm watching from South Sudan
Thanks for tuning in 😊
Thank you, Dr Leher, for this informative video. I have a question regarding the recent change in training in teaching guidelines, which states that training must include a minimum of 6 hours of synchronously delivered teaching. Is this applicable to the brilliant course you mentioned in the video?
Glad it was helpful! The course I mentioned includes 18 hours of teaching over 6 weeks so you should be able to claim points for it. What training programme is this for?
@@theacademicdoc oh that's amazing. The changes were made in IMT application scoring.
Nice
Thanks
thank you my friend!😁
Great, I was looking for case studies for economics, but I acquired many skills writing medical documents, so nice to see this here.
Good video 👍🏻👍🏻
God bless, Wonderful video. But I didnt understand the last part what do u mean by automate refrences, can you please elaborate
Glad you enjoyed it. To help make referencing easier and quicker I recommend using a software like Zotero or Mendeley which does it all automatically for you

Glad it was useful, if there’s any specific content you’d like to see on MRCP let me know.
Really helpful!
Hi doctor. I have a major doubt. What is the procedure to attain doctor’s license in the UK, for an Indian (who had graduated in Medicine, in the Philippines)?
IELTS/OET then PLAB 1 and 2 will give you GMC registration.
@@rahulrulia3775 thank you very much 😊
