I was a bachur at SY when it was 1284 Central ave. I knew Reb Sholmo he was such a rare neshama. Baruch Hashem for that opportunity!!!

I'm happy to have found this. Not only was Rav Freifeld, zt"l, the catalyst for so many baalei teshuvah (one of whom is my son's shver), he is the reflection of HIS rebbe, Harav Hutner, zt"l. Much appreciated.
