    Really enjoying these videos. After doing Telco LoS with drones for over 4 years now I can confirm these jobs are an emotional rollercoaster, but full of adventure. There's so many variables with transport logistics, site access issues, tech problems, weather and just straight up randomness (ie. snake in telco hut or Wedge-tails going after your drone) It's always constant problem solving and a race against time for daylight, site access or flights. Also driving, so much driving; You really want a good coworker or crew to join you for the ride. That being said you get to travel to some amazing places as these towers are often built on remote mountains deep in the outback or other interesting spots. You'll definitely stay in some gnarly accomodation too.

    Thanks for taking the time to comment :) Definitely, couldn't have said it better ourselves! Yes the projects can very both challenging and rewarding at the same time, with problem solving a key part of almost EVERY operation you are on, but we live for the adventure! Stay tuned...in part 3 it certainly is a roller-coaster!

    I use evmux (think streamlabs and OBS had a baby) to live stream. I want to use my drone as a camera. So, I'm importing the feed from the drone as opposed to live streaming directly from the drone. I have usb-c video capture cables (ugreen). How does that process work? Do you have a video of that? Thanks

  • @UAVISUALS
    @UAVISUALS7 күн бұрын

    This really just depends on the drone you're using as it sounds like you're just wanting the vision output like you would a second monitor, so this is best done with a drone that can use the RC Pro with a HDMI out cable. Otherwise there may be a way to use a USB-C to HDMI converter but we haven't tried that 🤔

    @@UAVISUALS Today is test day. I have a 32" monitor with 2 hdmi ports. One is connected to my laptop. I am going to run a usb-c to hdmi converter from the RC-2 to the second hdmi port on the monitor and then just change input when I want to stream the footage. I will let you know how it works.

    Have an M3P arriving Monday. I have the M3 now (in for repair), I neglected to write down my Expo & Gain settings. Had them tweaked nicely for smooth pans and camera tilts. Do you have some recommended settings for this for me to use as a starting point? Nice vid. There are many more features on the M3 family than I've explored. Need to take advantage of them.

    I'm a newbie . I heard the mini 3 pro is better than the mini 4 pro because of the Software Development kit availablity Is that true ?

  • @UAVISUALS
    @UAVISUALS18 күн бұрын

    An argument can definitely be made for that yes, as it allows the drone to do other things like mapping and modelling using 3rd party software, so if you're wanting to get into mapping and modelling and dont have the budget, the Mini 3 Pro is a great start. Objectivly overall Mini 4 Pro improves on the key features of the Mini 3 Pro in every way, especially with Camera Performance with 10bit Dlog-M HLG, 4K 100fps and omnidirectional obstacle avoidance, not to mention inclusion the of Waypoints that allows for repeatable missions over time. The 3rd party software abilities can allow for these types of repeatable flight capabilities in the Mini 3 Pro, and it's camera still performs well with 10bit D-Cinelike and 4K 50fps capabilities. So it just comes down to what your priorities are and how you will mostly want to use your drone!

    Great video except for the rappy intro music. However, I still gave it a like & subscribe. A question, I still have my old Phantom Pro 4, I only upgraded because of the hassle of air travel. I wonder if a video of the Phantom versus the Mavic Pro 3 & top controller would show to people the pros & cons. Please think about it. Hi from down under.

    Hello, I have some questions about mavic 3 pro. I have DJI RC-RM330 Smart Controller for my drone mavic 3 pro. I dont see at all ( format code: D log m and apple pro res 422 in main (x1) and second (x3) camera, 12 mb or 48 mb resolution pixel in second camera) in cine and normal version. I bought my drone july 2023 and did not update my drone until now. Should I update at all? Does anyone knows the answer?

  • @UAVISUALS
    @UAVISUALSАй бұрын

    Thanks for commentating! D-Log-M is only available after a firmware update. Pro-Res 422 is only available if you have the Mavic 3 Cine Drone. 12MP and 48MP should be available in the capture settings once x3 camera is selected. If you have not updated your firmware since July 2023 we recommend you do this right away to get the most out of this drone!

Please don't skip the sim, I don't care how good you think you are at maneuvering intelligent self hovering gps drones. Manual operation is a different beast entirely. But there are many excellent KZread channels that help you to make adjustments.

    I have found the L2 glitchy. Some data sets were missing files for no known reason resulting in frustration for the end users. I will se now the latest data set work out after adjusting out practice, but you present glitchy hardware and clients roll their eyes and loss of interest ensues. As a company we are seeking to get away from DJI and use alternative hardware from France and Israel.

  • @UAVISUALS
    @UAVISUALS2 ай бұрын

    We really don't see DJI making an "i3 lite" without RTK or stripping other features to make it cheaper to be honest. It has its target market for those willing to spend the money and have the clients who demand that output. Their flagship Mavic 3 Pro fills that gap between Prosumer and high end professional 🤑
