    What is the depth of cut for each line?

  • @MirageMachines
    @MirageMachines2 жыл бұрын

    Hello, thanks for your question. The depth of cut is relative to the material, but generally, a finish cut has a depth of 0.2mm (0.008”) - Roughing cut depth up to 1mm (0.040”).

    How does the weight of the pipe not pinch the diamond wire?

  • @MirageMachines
    @MirageMachines2 жыл бұрын

    Hi there and thanks for your question. Unlike a bandsaw blade, the diamond rope cuts around its circumference, this removes the likelihood of the rope being pinched. Pinching is common with bandsaws and usually requires the cut to be wedged or the workpiece supported from above. On a rare occasion it will pinch - these instances are few and far between, but it can happen. If you need any further product information please get in touch via our website www.enerpac.com

    Does it work in high pressure environment?

  • @ragamuffinjordan
    @ragamuffinjordan4 жыл бұрын

    It works subsea, I've operated at several hundred feet. So they can work in at least 150psig ambient pressure. I'm not totally sure what their limitations are. Although they appear to be capable of work at about any depth..usually your limiting factor is how much hose you've got, not pressure at depth.
