    Maybe this strategy would work better on non-native speakers.

    I really appreciate the teacher's tools of encouragement she used to maintain her student's engagement and motivation. Would it possible to share links to these?

    This is not reading, this is guessing. Hopefully, this teacher is using explicit phonics instruction now.

    I'm not sure the play phones are needed seems like another distraction. Worksheets are good with during reading.

    They are not paying attention you should have taken the book away from each of them and given them a work sheet to do with the story.

    Instead rereading over and over again... the children should be engaged in a written exercise

    I love this lesson. It looks like a "shared reading" lesson I would use in my classroom. What is the difference between the Intentional Read Aloud and a traditional "Shared Reading Lesson?"

  • @twinwolfpack4214
    @twinwolfpack42142 жыл бұрын

    With a shared reading lesson, students have access to read the print with you, either in the form of a big book, or enlarged projected pages from the book or their own copy of the text

    This seems so unrealistic, since you have at least 2 other adults in the room ensuring that students are quiet during the Guided Reading portion of the program.
