  I guess it’s just business for Luxottica, which is not a bad company at all, and everything will be done like per usual. Don’t think we’ll see a change in quantities or prices in the next few years. Might end up well with some new collabs and better (?) sunglasses. 😅I’m positive on this. VF didn’t work out as it was supposed to be.

  Honestly I have good hopes for this, even thought they are basically entirely sunglasses oriented. We might finally get some fresh collabs besides shitty logo plaster vans, tnf supreme every single season, won't trash timbs because those were usually heat. I only saw a collab I was super excited for like once a season, it might change now

  Not going to lie I'm glad they're moving onto something new the same collab brands all the time where getting stagnate and old. The Essilor Luxottica brand owns Burberry, Raybans , Oakley and few others that are still pretty good brands and i feel if they can do collabs with those brands it might refreshing upcoming couple of years.

  They own Ray-Ban and Oakley . Burberry is not a part of the brand the only thing they own from them is the licence to make eye wear for them, there are a lot of eyewear licences to make glasses for brands like Prada, Chanel and Tiffany & Co.

  You can’t just over saturate the box logos and other hype stuff bc then the hype just goes down and nobody will want them anymore. That just doesn’t work. And just other hype stuff in general, if it’s not limited then people won’t want it.

  I'm an eye doctor and when I was at school, Essilor Luxottica came as sponsors from time to time and tried to recruit us to work at their sites. If only this happened when I was in school maybe they could've given me Supreme samples 😂

  100% VF corp overpaid for Supreme. Supreme hasn't been nearly as profitable as they thought it was. Turns out taking out the hype of a brand that thrives on hype and exclusivity to sell is a BAD thing for sales. Honestly, they brand will keep jumping around until they get a buyer who doesn't care about making sky rocket profits off the brand because those days long gone.
