Well it seems that either devs change noble's equipment time by time or it just depends on noble's occupation. As for 1.2.9 patch at the beginning of my campaign Korte has shitty round shield instead of noble bow and some handmade dirty cheap chestplate. Btw (imho) korte is one of two marriage availible khuzait ladies whose face doesn't look like horsebutt.

I like scanning the flora/fauna and recording it all. It just happens to pay better with a shady scanner upgrade. People would not be looking for ways to make money if they follow the story line enough to get to the little Gek botany guy. So much good info comes during the base setup phase of the game. From there you get blueprints for the plants required to make stasis devices. Run through all the blueprints and you can shoot the ground with your mining beam and turn it into anything. Each stasis device sells for 15mil give or take. I can usually put together 15 in a daily session after clearing ot all my bases domes and atmosphere collectors for the sulphurine. Having plants growing in the background while ship hunting is a nice combo. I'd rather see all the ideas and decide for myself if they work for me, I'll skip calling any of them stupid. I like your videos. After the last one I made a slew of those cookies. I wonder if it was just me or does the nip nip loose its illegal status after becoming cookies? Mine didn't have a contraban warning when I went to sell them. There is a nice markup. Another thing I noticed is if I put something in to process in my nutrient processor room on my freighter, if I walk away if clears out. I put a couple hundred cactus flesh in to get the juice. came back and it was empty so I had to watch it to make the cookies. Might have to move that operation to a base. Has anyone else had that happen on a freighter with the nutrient processor room?

  • @TravellerTheophilus

Yeah the gas machines for oxygen are not that good. I mine oxygen ... it is very common as a gas resource. Then I medium/large refine oxygen to carbon. The standing planters are nice for carbon in their place. You are right autonomous mining units are small compared to a regular mine ... that is why I think it adds (you see I get 1000 each visit) to a quality base location but doesn't necessarily make or break the spot.

If you like action, then killing all 5 waves of sentinels will give you an average of 5 modules that can be sold for around 2400 nanites. I like the anticipation when opening the glass containers. Also for credits, I like to craft the highest technology that sells for 15-16 million. I do this simply by creating a base with a teleporter on 6 planets: - Radiation planet for Uranium and Gamma Weed - Toxic planet for Ammonia, Fungus Mould and Nitrogen - Fire planet for Phosphorous, Solar Vine and Sulphurine - Ice planet for Dioxite, Frostwort and Radon - Lush planet for Parafinnium and Star bulbs - Barren planet for Cactus and Pyrite I created the bases near the deposits on the planets so that I can harvest in an instant. Just remember to bring Carbon to refuel the miners and gas extractors. I also don't create massive farms, just 3-4 miners, 3 gas harvesters and enough plants so that it's not tiring/boring to harvest. It gets done in around 10 minutes and gives me around 150 million which can be scaled if I feel like it. Haven't found a need for more credits than that yet though. Also the sentinels sometimes drops items that bypasses some of the havesting process. Once I found this out, the food processors are just there to make me bread to consume for jetpack overload which is handy when using the melee attack + jetpack boost trick for travel. I wonder if there are more fun and efficient methods to get nanites and credits
