  In our (Western) culture, we have another idea of beauty. We can't judge them by our canons. Me personally don't find them scary at all. They look like ancient warriors. If it comes to a flirt and somebody has extremely white and good looking teeth (and the men in the video have indeed), then you want your potential partner to see the attribute. They smile all the time. Did you ever analyze carefully facial expressions of two flirting together people? You would be surprised! 😁 It's exactly like in the video, maybe only not so "profound". The men in Africa express the "flirt face" into the extreme. They want to attract the women watching them. This ceremony is a huge flirt festival. You can find more explanation about it in documentaries about the Wodaabe/ Fullani / Bororo people. 👍
