And if you don't want the skin on, you never cut past the end of the tail and then flip it over.Because the tail acts as a handle to remove the skin while you're pushing off the fillet

i remember doing this job. we used an upward facing spike to “mount” the crab onto then pull the legs out from underneath.. they shiver in your hands as they get impaled from the bottom and it’s a little unsettling at first. did em by the thousands

I really wanna get into freshwater salmon fishing. I've done lots of basic rainbow trout fishing but I know salmon Is a whole other beast. Fishing from the bank currently and I live in western washington. so if anyone has any good tips drop em Below because I've never done it on my own but I'm super excited to learn.

I do it a little differently but just as well. My 1st job was cutting fish in a seafood restaurant in a fishing village. At the time? It didn't feel like I was learning a useful skill. Now? I am glad I had that job for a summer at 16. The army, too. They army taught me to back a trailor with mirrors only. I can parallel park my boat. Never had time for salmon fishing when I was around where they are. Looks like fun. I love fishing, but I don't particularly like to eat fish so I usually don't bother with it. About once a year is all I want when eating fish, and I don't like the taste of salmon. But catching them would be a blast.
