@@DeannaTroyTravels my mommy said not to tell
“Let’s go vegan in Stockholm, Sweden.” Let’s not and say we did. 100% omnivore.
To each their own diets my friend 🥰
As a Swede I thought Sweden and perhaps especially Stockholm was well known specifically for it's vegan and vegetarian food.
I didn't know this until I starting researching for our Europe trip. Our friend lives in Sweden so I tried to find out everything we could about the beautiful country. That's when I realized there were so many vegans restaurants! I hope my video can spread awareness so that all foreigners learn how fabulously vegan friendly Sweden is!
I feel like there's a difference between buffet and "all you can eat".. the latter sounds more like an american invention. It's not uncommon for buffet restaurants to ban customers who take advantage of it.
Good distinction! Yes I guess in America those two words are interchangeable. I checked their website and didn't see any guides to how much is too much so I guess it's judgement based. We only had two plates each but it's definitely good to keep in mind that a buffet in Europe is just a variety not an all you can eat situation! Thank you for bringing that up!
Everything sure looks appetizing, but I’m still skeptical... I grew up with my brother, John's homemade Swedish meatballs every Christmas. So they would have been the litmus test for me. However considering that you’re in Sweden, I’d have to give the cooks some respect. You translator on printed packaging is very impressive.
Well I’m sure John’s meatballs were amazing! But yes, normally I’d be skeptical if it would really taste like the real thing, but these did! And yes the translator really comes in handing for packaging or signs in a restaurant!
Okay, Cedric, did I feed you enough growing up? You were very excited about the all you can eat, vegan buffet! Deanna, it’s great you’re doing a series of vegan options at all these places you go. I bet not many people post about the topic. Great video!
Hahahahaha. He's just a growing boy 😛 - Thanks so much! I'm going to be posting even more Europe vegan finds throughout the year so stay tuned for more!
Wow,this really does make you hungry, all the food looks fantastic! Colorful, tasty, good for you, and filling, I need to try more vegan food....you've inspired me!
Thank you! I love inspiring people to eat less meat! Even if you just make one vegan day a week that's better for the environment! And yes this food in Stockholm was amazing!
I love seeing vegan options thrive in Stockholm! Im sharing this deliciousness with my friends, come check out whats new with us.
Amazing! Thank you so much! Yes I couldn't believe how many vegan options there were. Every restaurant in Stockholm had at least one vegan thing! Are you from Sweden? What other places would you recommend! Will def check out your channels, I just followed you on Instagram too!
This video is making me hungry!
Haha it will do that to you! 🤣🌭
Beautiful video. I love how you used a translator to speak to him thats so cool!
Thanks so much Abigail!! Yea the Vasco V4 is pretty cool! If you're interested in it you can use my coupon code Deanna5 at checkout for a discount! (Links in the description) Have you ever been to Greece? Is it on your travel list?
Suddenly, I feel compelled to sample the hard to describe flavor of mespila fruit. Is it available in Connecticut?
I've never seen them in the grocery stores in the New England areas of U.S. It grows only in hot weather so it grows in Florida, California, Hawaii but not CT! Thanks for watching!
"hi5, namaste" cool n good video Deanna:-*
Thanks so much! Have you been to Greece?
This new movie is so sweet.... the conversation with the older gentleman is precious, and the hotel looks gorgeous! Loved the scenery, the local fruit, and the local cat!
Thank you! Yes the hotel is so cute and that man was so nice! I have showed them this video and they are so excited!
Cedric is always playing with cats! Did you use the translator with it?
Haha he sure is! They are his favorite! The Vasco Translator V4 works with translating 108 languages but unfortunately that doesn't include feline! LOL 😂
The walk from Fira to Oia is definitely worth doing
Yes, you said it was very beautiful and fun! (Minus the donkey poo! Or was that in another walk you went on?)
👍👍👍
Thanks so much! Where are you from?

Haha he was very friendly, thanks so much! I got the dress for free from a neighbor’s hand me down!
There is nothing we can do 😭😭😭😠😠😱😱🪻🪻🪻🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
What do you mean? Paris is tons of fun 😍
@@DeannaTroyTravelsit’s from a meme in regards to napoleon.
Great tips from the cabbie! Hope you tipped him! Is that screaming on the boat while under bridges a French thing or a "that boat" thing? Excellent music choices really fit the scenes. Nice touch synchronizing the guitarist on the steps at 1:31 with the downbeats of the background music! The closing moving shot of the mini Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower at 4:27 is downright Iconic!
We sure did tip him! For the boats, I'm not sure. It seemed like it was just for this specific tour or type of tour. It was mostly the locals that knew about this and initiated it. I didn't mean to synchronize the guitar but we noticed it watching the export! Thanks so much! And thanks for liking my last shot, the lighting was starting to go down, but the silhouettes were lovely!
Amazing technology we have today. Many of my subscribers comment in foreign languages and I am usually able to respond in their native language within minutes thanks to today's awesome translators online. Enjoy Paris!
Yes! It is amazing that translating is so easy nowadays! I also try to translate comments online before replying as well! Thanks so much! (The Vasco Translator V4 is pretty cool! If you’re interested in getting one use my coupon code Deanna5)

What
Hey this is the Praia do Camilo in Laos Portugal
What a terrific visit! Lovely setting, and such Party Animals, with quaint drinking customs. I bet a lot of bartenders here wish they could beat their customers on the head with a stick! The translator was pretty impressive, but it did confuse genders...was it trying to be woke?
Haha yes! Not sure which custom that helmet/bonking was from. It might be German or Swedish because the helmet had fake blonde braids on it. And then you're supposed to inhale the smoke from the glass after it being on fire. I'll have to look it up! And yes the translator is very fast, quick acting and impressive!
we did the full tour through the rice terraces, after that, we were totally exhausted. 35C and 80% humidity, that kills you. : )
Oh wow! That must have been tiring! Just exploring for 1/2 hour taking pictures on our own was exhausting! And my sandals broke from the mud hahaha. But it was probably really cool to do the full tour as well. A water bottle carrier is a MUST for Indonesia!
@@DeannaTroyTravels easy, we asked the lady in the shop at the entrance to take a picture of us, she offered to do so if we buy a small water bottle in return. I bought two, we needed both. :D
Haha nice! We just asked other travelers who were walking around at the time. I guess we went when there was lots of people there. Are you still in Indonesia now?
@@DeannaTroyTravels no, unfortunately not. I am from Germany, my girlfriend (she is from Thailand) and I had been to Bali in the springtime of 2023. I picked her up in Bangkok, we took a connecting flight to Denpasar, I rented a motorbike, and we spent some days in Ubud, including two nights in the Hanging Gardens of Bali.
Awesome! We loved Thailand too, Bangkok was amazing, we joked about wanting to move there (We were 1/2 kidding haha) - We spent time in Ubud as well, as you see in this video but I think we missed the "hanging gardens" where is that?
