Hey thanks, Martin, hope you find it useful. I'm still using it and made a small improvement for more stability - run both ropes under one of the chair's wheels. Brings the center of the forces lower and the pedals become more stable.

i did as you showed, but when i push on the brakes the pedal mount lifts from the front, any suggestions?
@dkostov4 жыл бұрын
I tried to simulate what you experience, here's a couple of thoughts to try: 1) It very rarely happens to me, probably because of how I keep my feet on the pedals. I keep the heel firm on the platform and press with just my toes. This, however, will not help if you do heel and toe, so the next thought ... 2) try to link the rope as low as possible to the chair. The lowest I got was to tie it to one of the wheels. This way even if it lifts - the lift is minimal. If the rope is at the floor - there should be no lift. Tell me if you get any success! Enjoy :-)

Wow thas a awesome idea, dont the pedals still move around if you dont push directly on them?
@dkostov4 жыл бұрын
This is why I used the side mount points. The brake is very stable, as it is in the center. Rarely, if you press the gas too hard and your left foot is not on the pedals, it shifts a bit. I'm working on a couple of zero-cost improvements ;-)

@@dkostov well if you had like a kitchen chair with 2 legs up front maybe the pedals would not move around... i have the fanatech pedals that are pushed up agains the wall but still tend to lift up when press hard on the brake, but still have to use a kitchen chair to avoid getting pushed back. So based on that if you loop it around the 2 front feet should do the trick. But i alao mounted bass shaker to the kitchen chair so i actually prefer it to a office chair, where it would be wery hard to mount the shakers :)
@dkostov4 жыл бұрын
@@srdjancervenjak8337 , cool, Fanatech! I also thought about using the front feet/wheels, but it turns out the set moves much more that way. Have to find a way to stop the rope from sliding. A knot near the chair will solve it, but then taking the whole thing off will take more effort. Btw, with this system the pedals do not lift at all, no matter how hard you press the brake.
