    6:35 ? No stockfish would just leave that rook undefended. When and where was this played? On your PC? I just looked this up. Obsidian is rated 2000. Stockfish is over 3000.

    @@theartofchess2039 Well, it doesn't make any sense to me. How does a 2000 ranked engine beat one over 3000? And why would stockfish NOT try to defend a piece but run away? I don't believe these moves were made by stockfish on it's highest level. But then what do I know about chess???

    Magnus wasn't actually 13 (as he was in that photo) when that game was played. He was 18 - the same age as World Championship challenger Gukesh is now. Magnus became World Champion just four years after this game. Maybe you could use a less misleading photo of him?

    This is stockfish bro, everything it did was planned

  • @haidaralhassan4621
    @haidaralhassan4621Ай бұрын

    in terms of material at 1:04 that was not a sacrifice, stockfish lost a knight (3 pts) and komodo lost 3 pawns (3 pts), and positionally it seems about equal even after giving away a piece because it opened up half of blacks side and placed the white knight at a critical square, so it might not be a sacrifice at all

  • @haidaralhassan4621
    @haidaralhassan4621Ай бұрын

    at 3:32 Rook c7 to c8 might look like a sacrifice but the rook was already a trapped. all moves would lead to losing the rook, but the komodo engine calculated that this was the best way to lose it. If you think that "Rxd7 cxd7" is an equal exchange why would black just give away the rook, then you should take a closer look at the position after the exchange. the pawn would queen in 2 moves and it would be an unstoppable checkmate very soon because non of the black pieces or th eking can get to it or to the rook in time

  • @haidaralhassan4621
    @haidaralhassan4621Ай бұрын

    4:02 is the same as 3:31 in some way. Komodo knows a checkmate is inevitable, so it chooses the move that leads to the longest survival time basically

    should it really take 50 moves for them to dare taking or pushing a pawn, and then another 50 moves to dare it again, and another 50 moves and another 50 moves? No, it shouldn't be like that. If you haven't won after 213 moves you respective your opponent have yourselves to blame for not winning. So, when 213 moves happen it should be draw like in chess online. What do you think, art of chess?

    In chess engine there are a chess rule called termination. If Termination set as “Mate” they will fight until mate. If Termination set as “Adjudication” the system will stop the game in case one of them impossible to win. It’s to safe the time. There are also the draw rules for example 3 fold repetition or 50 move without any capture ....If the match does not violate these rules then the match will continue even though it has to take more than 200 move ...
