  To make dal rice, you'll need: ### Ingredients: - **For Dal:** - 1 cup of any dal (lentils) like toor dal, moong dal, or masoor dal - 2.5 cups water for pressure cooking the dal - 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder - Salt to taste - 1 tablespoon ghee or oil - 1 teaspoon cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds (optional) - 1-2 dry red chilies - A pinch of asafoetida (hing) - 1 onion, finely chopped - 1 tomato, finely chopped - 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste - 1-2 green chilies, slit - 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste) - 1/2 teaspoon garam masala or any dal spice mix - Fresh coriander leaves for garnish - **For Rice:** - 1 cup basmati rice or any long grain rice - 2 cups water - 1/4 teaspoon salt ### Instructions: #### Preparing the Dal: 1. **Rinse the Dal:** - Rinse the dal thoroughly under running water until the water runs clear. 2. **Pressure Cook the Dal:** - Add the rinsed dal to a pressure cooker along with 2.5 cups of water, turmeric powder, and salt. - Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles or until the dal is soft and mushy. - Once the pressure releases naturally, open the lid and check if the dal is cooked properly. It should be soft and mushy. - Mash the dal with the back of a spoon or a whisk to get a smooth consistency. #### Preparing the Rice: 1. **Rinse the Rice:** - Rinse the rice in water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch. 2. **Cook the Rice:** - In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil and add the rinsed rice and salt. - Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let the rice simmer for about 18-20 minutes or until all the water is absorbed and the rice is fluffy. #### Tempering the Dal: 1. **Prepare the Tadka (Tempering):** - Heat ghee or oil in a small pan. - Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, dry red chilies, and asafoetida. Let them sizzle. - Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent. - Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, and sauté for a minute until the raw smell goes away. - Add the chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, and sauté until the tomatoes are mushy and oil starts to separate from the mixture. - Pour this tempering over the cooked dal and mix well. - Add garam masala or dal spice mix and give it a good stir. - Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. #### Serving: - Serve the hot dal over steamed rice, garnished with more fresh coriander leaves. Enjoy your homemade dal rice! Remember, you can always adjust the spices according to your taste preferences.

  Honestly Terrible way to hold out the troops You should’ve done something like line but instead you grouped them up way too much The Witch and Headhunters for example would’ve won but two easy splash piles. I’m not saying put them in a circle but space them out like you spaced out the Archers and Wizards
