My brothers and I used to play the Simpsons Arcade game at the local pizza place all the time. Then, one day, it was removed with zero fanfare. We were extremely disappointed. We had a lot of good memories playing that

This was a blast. Comparing it to Family Guy, Robot Chicken, or MAD Magazine is totally apt, and I don't think that's a bad thing at all. I lost my shit when Blade dropped the ice-skating line

I absolutely loved it, and I do agree that the plot is total nonsense, but I think that's the joke tbh. Deadpool has always been like an ongoing shitpost, so critiquing the plot is almost entirely pointless in my opinion. It might be undercut a bit because how modern MCU films really lean on self-aware humor but Deadpool was always the king of it. And yeah, it's not exactly timeless either, but again. Never was. Yeah, me being the chaos goblin I am, I absolutely loved it.

I went into this movie with VERY low expectations and was completely caught off guard with how much I loved this movie. I don’t really see this as a Marvel movie at all. This was a swan song to the Fox films and, overall, that era of superhero movies. Sure there was some plot nonsense (i.e. the TVA), but, despite that, I thought it worked remarkably well.

The movie was entertaining, and the fight scenes were good. I enjoyed all the callbacks to previous movies. The story sucked. Some elements made me cringe. Im glad I saw it in the theater. Dont need to see it again, lol.

I'm a big Dan fan, but your video forms a good dialectic. Weird thing I notice on a lot of videos like this is that you get on to disagree, but in the arguing you sort of arrive at the same conclusions, you just take a completely different route to get there so it feels like you disagree.

I think you misunderstand what we’re saying. We’re saying it’s a great experience and we really enjoyed it. But it’s not really a movie in the traditional sense of telling a cohesive story with a narrative that tracks from beginning to end.

Saw this Thursday. Packed house. Everyone and myself were laughing and cheering and screaming the whole time. It was so funny, so much fun, and just really a winning time at the cinema. That said the plot was nonsense. Macfadyen’s character was the worst part, his plan, his motive, even some of his delivery was trash. It lacked the heart of the first two Deadpool films…unfortunately not for a lack of trying 😬 but overall I had a blast.

I remember as a kid wondering why Wolverine wasn’t wearing his mask in the 2000 movie. I eventually understood that they were going for a different vibe, but good Lord, when he finally pulled the mask on in this one to the Madonna song, I gasped. There it is, baby!😀 I was so giddy 😂

I didn't know Wesley Snipes was in this! I think Blade was the last Marvel movie I saw. I was considering going to see this movie, specifically to see just how incomprehensible it is to someone who's not up to date with the MCU. Now that I know Blade and Gambit are in it, I think I might to have to go see it.

This “movie” shouldn’t be viewed as a movie. It should be viewed as one long joke. If you’re into the joke, you’ll like it. If you don’t like the sense of humor, you’d probably be annoyed with it. By this point, you know exactly what Deadpool is as a movie property and if you show up expecting a lot of substance, you’ll be disappointed. There’s a little story here. A little heart. But it’s mostly a road trip movie through the multiverse fueled by cartoon violence and snaps that mostly land. I had a great time watching it. Loved the goofy cameos. This is the only way to get away with that sort of nonsense.

I missed watching Deadpool & Wolverine opening weekend and the major moments are pretty much spoiled now. Which I agree is fine in this case because seems like a movie built around clip moments for social memes rather than a Fight Club or Usual Suspects key twist which justifies the whole 120 minutes. This style fits much better with Deadpool than Loki and it's too bad they're having to retread old ground and mashup the Loki series with elements from Guardians. Perhaps those are more tributes. Anyway, best not to think too hard about story. Just relax and enjoy the very violent ride. I like the Rob Liefeld "Just Feet," shop. Though I wish they would've included his messed up Captain America with the weird perspective chest. The one based on the famous Arnold pose. For me, that's so much worse than his lack of feet especially since it was on the cover. Even as a kid I wondered, who did this?
