sorry Dan, having been laid off myself - its called life - and having a new idea of what life means. If the industry is harsh, one has to not engage in the emotionality. At least Dan, you got away with enough $$$ to never have to worry about basic things.

Young Bill Hewitt was apparently vocal about wanting to be a broadcaster like his Dad. Most notably, Young Canada Night broadcasts, were when Foster would turn the mike over to Bill. The younger Hewitt learned the industry from the bottom up, starting his career at CFOS AM in Owen Sound, groomed to be a seasoned pro. Foster was not only a broadcaster, but a media outlet owner and because of this unique perspective, couldn't always see eye-to-eye with most broadcasting colleagues, hence less likely to socialize with them. By association, Bill was basically caught up in that status, also.

@greatcanadiansportsshow True. He has been their best player. BUT. He got caught in no man's land a few times last night. AND it's the keepers responsibility to communicate with his defenders. That goal was all him.
