In the show first names are used to show the closeness of the relationship, it inflects intimacy and familiarity. Like when Simon tells Daphne to use his given name so people will believe they are in love. Colin takes it a step further by calling Penelope “Pen”. They were always meant to have a deep connection. I think calling her Pen also shadowed that she is Lady Whistledown. There’s something special in the way they say each others name.

🤬🤬That’s going way too far!! Who the heck does that and thinks to ridicule Nicolas body again is okay!! I don’t think Luke even pays attention to his Instagram account, I was on it there the other day and there were comments that shocked me!! Nicola is our Queen 👑 respect her and don’t like that post and definitely don’t say anything either!! Good grief !! I’m so not okay with this!

Thank you for posting this, we hear Nicola our Queen 👑always being very generous with her kind words towards Luke in every interview she does whether they are together or separate, we rarely get a chance to hear Luke state his feelings. I understand his comfort position with his ADHD and not everyone of us are comfortable vocalising our feelings so freely (and that could not be his love language) so I am REALLY happy to see this clip! The things Nicola did for the tour day in and day out and still does for season 3 is amazing 🥰🥰!!
