It’s not a terrible restoration and it certainly makes the chair useful again. But may I kindly suggest when making the new back and seat you put the staples on the underside/back instead of the edges so that way they are not visible? It would give it a cleaner and more professional finish. I would also suggest some kind of sealant for the metal to keep it from rusting too. And lastly when stripping paint especially old white paint invest in a lead testing kit, they’re pretty cheap nowadays so that way you are protecting your health.

Opískovat a pak nechat nalakovat (práce cca 1 týden) Škoda že tam nepíšeš jak dlouho jsi alu kola renovoval.

A chemical dip or media blaster would have been alot better.

You could have simply spraypainted over the old paint after rough polishing the face - it would have looked about the same

Using a quality paint remover and following it up with a pressure washer makes it muuuch easier than scraping it all with a blade 😊 you are left with just some remainings needed to be removed 😊

looks more like a block of zink, youre not meant to clean those, they dissolve annyways, in electrolysis
