What you have created is a piece social history for this part of Coventry. People in years to come will lookback and see how things in the area used to be. Keep up the good work. Excellent smooth camera work as well with good HD quality, what camera are you using, is it a 360?

Hi Shawry! Such an important event in Sky Blues history to have recorded for posterity. How different things might have been, almost 10 years down the line. Can we connect offline, do you think, so that I can chat with you about using selections from this footage in a pre-season video project I'm planning? Best wishes, Mark Higgitt

Wyken Slough used to be a family park. There was a snack bar and toilets; you could go on a motor boat around the lake. Would get crowded with families and children every sunny weekend in Spring/Summer.

Every change they make to Coventry leaves it worse than it was before. I can't think of anything they have done that has really improved it. I was born in Coventry and lived there for 30 years. I emigrated to the USA in 1979. I've been back a few times since but not for at least 15 years.

Nice to see cov as apathetic to our own customs as normal while Sunday the local newbies were closing down roads yelling and drumming for two hours my wishes for a saxon festival to have ever happened are seemingly dead and buried. Not a word of this st George's day celebration was put out where I live, no surprise there.

Used to walk down here regularly. Desperately miss the Bus Stop Cafe, a tiny little fried breakfast place, really cheap and with lovely ladies serving, reminded me of my old school dinner ladies. Really good prices, gutted when it closed a couple of years ago. Used to pick up reptile supplies from a great little repltile shop down here too. My mom always went to a habidashery down there as well. Loads of great little independent shops. I understand the need for development and regeneration but its a real shame to see places like this that had real character disappear never to be seen again..

I sat here wondering why i was scorned quietly and, below view of even me. Yes its true im not street wise i know people are after my blood but it don't mean to say im not sociable with them. I know everyone and there dog slander my name they punch me with words make me black so they can appear white as they try to darken who i am, they also knew by turning the disabled onto me they would look blameless the very people i advacated was the disabled for them to smite me using the one i love to do . with faith as small as a mustard seed great things are achieved in the faith of the Almighty but only credit to our father if we try to take what is gifted from and through our father we are smiting his very name and all things considered every grasp of air we breath from birth is of credit to our father all our thoughts from birth are logged by our father i would imagine it is much better to rebuke our misplaced thoughts than to have to rebuke our very physical actions, it all starts with the thoughts of the battle between the good and bad but what in mind is most conclusive is the final decision by mind keeper as to what action to take if the right action is taken the battle has been won, our life and every decision we make is considered by the battle and only can be concluded by the mind let the mind walk with Jesus the reason why i say that is because the father was eye for eye yet the Son of the father was a repreval to us all with out our mediator Jesus Christ Our Saviour how can we be forgiven for our wrong decisions that the father without Jesus would forgive because the bridge could only and was only rebuilt by Jesus Christ our Saviour my king and yours if you do not denounce him, let me say this that Jehovah only repreived us through his Son we deny his Son then Jehovah i feel would do the same deny us, in my eyes God never turned his back on us hence the birth of his only begotton son we denied our father not the other way around. full stop.......we were given a book we could read but at the beginning of the book it warns us nothing be added and nothing be taken out now i never dispute Jesus's words but however there is no denying that the bible is so extremely large that the book is incomplete hence we don't have all of what we should know of what the father was trying to teach us, put it this way if we read a page and only read middle chapter half cut and half concluded how would we have the whole knowledge of what its trying to tell us ,is it too hard to stick too love thy brother as thy self or would brethren and then love they father Almightly God with all thy mind and soul. in loving our brother and sister unconditionaly as Jesus when walked the earth did then are we not loveing our Father, question answer if you wish freewill is Gods rule so if you don't wish to contemplate my provoking the free thought and freeing the mind from mind enslavment then try not to answer . now thy roman empire was about enslavement yet pontus pilate and ceaser were both roman who judged our King Jesus but even they feared there judgement against Jesus because they knew he was very miraculas and they feared his freeing people from there mind slavery, thats i believe why one of the roman leaders and thinking they were at liberty to judge Gods son washed his hands know ing one day in judgement he could be made accountable to the Father Jehovah, I don't think anyone that says what religion are you from what football do you support is within there rights to ask you as they dare to judge you before you turn round and say one football is a sport and has nothing to do with Jehovah as its a commercial event and all about money its not even about sport, secondly religion so you ask what religion some belongs too so you i suppose would be dare to be God and judge yet jesus was never judgemental once yet putting some one under the pressure of your thumb screws trying to catergagorise where you decide place judge people what would Jehovah and the Angels tell us on that account and i suppose some one would dare to be God yet Jesus was all about advercation freeing people giving people hope building a bridge for us to walk on a straight path to join and the father and his in the heaven, i have to say this if ever it seems like im judgeing people oh its so very far from it i don't judge but what i do do is give thought provoking stituations to people to help them question the very things i questioned not against but because im for them, i love much deeper than i wish to appear because time is short and to save each other from mind control and nanny state isn't that the mind of our generations to come educated and not enslaved minds imence yourselfs from mental slavery none but ourselfs can free our mind there was two scenes i seen in early devolopment one was the animal farm very evil film and the other was 1984 brain wahsing nanny state i could not sit back and watch either of the success of either of these evil movies as both of them were seen to be heading as a fact anyway through all desperation and some times life threatening nobody would want either especially leaving hatred on the earth for future generations i never was fortunate enough to have children but i am pleased i have only done my best to help other children for future generations in other words our generation messed up i tried to compensate to others which maybe if we had been untided we could have achieved alot more as all instead of opersition groups fighting each other and not noticing why they were fighting what they would leave there children the anser would be nothing....fullstop .....lets stop fighting the past is the past no one can change it but the biggest step ever to change it our future is to find in order of biggest enemy and go shake there hand then next biggest and so and so and so for ever and ever ...................
