Gates Cambridge Scholarships are prestigious, full-cost scholarships for postgraduate study and research in any subject at the University of Cambridge. They are awarded to academically outstanding individuals with a capacity for leadership who are committed to improving the lives of others. There are currently over 1,200 Scholars and Alumni from almost 100 countries.
The Scholarships are administered by the Gates Cambridge Trust (an exempt charity in Cambridge, UK) and were set up in 2000 by a donation of US$210m to the University of Cambridge by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation - the largest single donation to any UK university.

Can we use the same reference to the PhD application and application in the Gates scholarship ?
I am so incredibly thankful to all the researchers at Cambridge but of course these two most of all. They are changing lives, my life, my kids. While it came too late for my dad, he followed research and donated his genetics in the hopes that someday there might be some opportunity for a better understanding. While we do not have rare obesity, it was quite severe in my dad, and my daughter is following a similar trajectory. I am so appreciative of this work and the increase in understanding that comes with it too.
I am always awaiting any new updates. Thank you for posting lectures like these. ❤

My daughter got admission in chambridge university for phd 4 years ago for aerospace they said they cannot give scholar ship and needs 5 lakhs fees now it may have changed with bill gates scholarship I had spend 25 lakhs for msc aerospace materials at cranfield university

Nostalgia, nostalgia although not a Gatecambridge scholar but had the opportunity to meet and listen to the rich and overwhelming intellectual minds of Gatecambridge scholars, especially from Africa and that has forever changed my perspective on the value of diverse ideas. Thank you guys for making me revisit those memorable days.

For phd applicants is it acceptable to submit the same research proposal that we submitted for department application? Or is there any specific format for gates scholarship which might be different from department application?
