  My partners level is at 69000 a day after IV fluids... It is going up. It is attacking his leg muscles. His urine was dark brown.. Its come lighter now. He did a bike ride... He was in the army previously as a para. He is usually fairly fit... He has over done it. Not enough is known about this.

  I am 44 years male , Indian Origin living in Australia, Regular Gym goer , My Creatinine is 1.74 mg/DL ( EGFR = 47 ml/min/1.73m2) based on which I was told Stage 3 CKD. I go to gym 6 days a week and eat high protein diet so I almost forced my Doctor to do a Cystatine C test EGFR and guess what my Cystatine C is 0.77 mg/L ( EGFR 113 ml/min/1.73m2) . Doctor was really angry ....Go figure

  I had a high d dimer (1285) and they treated me in the emergency room and did a CTA and ruled out a PE. They couldn’t find any reason for the D dimer to be elevated although I have secondary progressive MS and I did see where auto immune diseases can cause a high dimer, when it comes to my legs, they hurt all the time and I get a lot of cramps but they keep telling me this is due to the MS not any type of clot I just hope that they are telling me the truth because I have very little trust in the medical system these days. I was thinking they should’ve done a CT of my legs at the same time but they didn’t feel that was necessary Any input is appreciated
