  No you can't feel them at all! They flattened down completely before attaching the sole - however, if you're making shoes and the lasting allowance from your upper doesn't flatten completely during the lasting process, you can use cork filler to create a flat surface before attaching your sole 😊

  I discovered your channel yesterday and was curious how much it would cost me to get the starter kit. I went to your shop to check out the prices but I couldn't find what shipping/handling/vat costs are until I typed in my data and went to the checkout. I did not finish checkout. I had to click "accept terms and conditions" to even see how much shipping etc would be and then decided it is more than I can afford at the moment so I closed the tab. After that I received a "Welcome to the family!" Email without asking or subscribing to anything. That really creeped me out. I don't know how rules are in UK but here in Europe it is an "opt-in" thing with mailing lists, not opt-out. Being "spied" for my mail adress for just looking at the prices had a bitter taste to me.
