  Engine 1 is on scene. We got a 2 1/2 story peaked roof single family dwelling with working fire on the A side second floor window. No reports of occupants at this time. Will be laying a supply line and pulling a 1.5 inch handline to the second floor for search and Fire control. This be an interior attack. Go ahead and give me an additional Engine and a Truck. Show Engine 1 as Command.

  So that all the heat and smoke go up and out of the structure. When you're inside it's a night and day difference. Water's going on the fire, so even though it gives the fire more air, the bigger picture is it removes the heat.

  Putting a lithium battery in water may produce more than Hydrogen. Hydrogen Floride and hydrogen Chloride gas may also be possible. Not only a flammable atmosphere, but a toxic atmosphere.
