  My forehead is my biggest insecurity… it literally holds me back and stops me from hanging out with people because I’m so afraid my bangs will move and expose it… and swimming is a nightmare

  i used to have that but i got a shorter haircut and just accepted it, what got me to accept it was seeing all of the celebrities with big foreheads who don't care. Not caring makes it not as large as you think

  I know this came out 2 years ago but still relevant to me today. I remember I dyed my hair almost close to my hair color and my mom threatened to cut my hair off. She said I can’t get piercing until I’m 30 (besides the one I have on my ears) When we watching a movie and they show someone buying their parents a house, my parents start criticizing me for not doing the same. My mom reminds she providing for the whole family took care of her little siblings and her parents plus go to the river to wash everyone clothes, I have it too easy in America. Every time something bad happens to me she says because I don’t pray enough… and list goes on (we could turn this into a series) but damn 21st century and African parents are still cut from the same cloth.
