Quinn, i love your channel. Very helpful, ive got a dillema. I want to upgrade my wife’s wedding ring from a round 1ct to a 2+ct lab grown for our 10th anniversary next month. Problem is the ring (per the R.B. store that i got it from 10 years ago) says its 0.90-1.2 limit spec (but they dont have info on what the ring is). Ive got pictures of it, it looks like a simple design with diamonds on the side, and 4 posts holding the stone. They say they cant tell without bringing it in, but it never leaves her finger. I even found an identical ring online being sold, or swear to god, a nearly duplicate carbon copy of the design, no dice, gotta bring it in. I’m not even asking for free alterations from them, i’m just looking for some kind of confidence it can be done. I want it to be a total surprise. I want to give her the lose diamond and then have it put onto the ring. I dont want to buy a big diamond then be told “won’t work, need new ring” and have to get a new wedding ring (its sacred to me). Is this something you’re experienced with? I am happy to work direct with you. Is that something you could assist with? Would buy the diamond from you as well of course if you’re able to assist. I’ve got 21 days to get the loose diamond here in WA state.
The 😢🎉back stuff ruinéd it.
No nice looking
That's the worst antiquing I've ever seen, all it did was make the detail black
What is black liquid you use to make it dark?😊
Absolutely beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
i just gotta say as a goldsmith myself, it makes me so giddy every time i encounter people who actually know the difference between goldsmith, jeweler, gemsetter, and silversmith
When I was much younger, there were 27 jewelers in the mall I worked at. And about 5 jewelers. We did all the work for all the stores. If people only new. Now, I'm a goldsmith and a group of goldsmiths and jewelers. We are a part of a special club. Thanks for your comment. Welcome
What a sweet thing to do.
Beautiful work. I'll never own anything so nice, but it's so lovely to watch the process.
Thank you very much
Thank you so much.
You're welcome!
Where in Texas I can get a lab diamond.
Sure, fill this form out. It's free... We can get you price information that you can take anywhere of what the actual prices are. You can take that info anywhere. If you can't find it for what we tell you, the price should be. We honor that price and get it for you. docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScr6AQjutjK4JL_qtmm_yjgDivvIrEKFFbSOs5oD28OF221Jw/viewform
I have need of having a ring made using stones from my mom's humble wedding set.
I'm happy to help. If you contact Laura, my manager, she can set up an appointment for you and I to talk. Please call the store at 703-878-1622 I look forward to talking to you. Terry Quinn
How much a tennis bracelet from lab grown diamonds 17.7 carat VVS should cost ?
Hi, Quinnsgoldsmith.com/service/diamond-guide/
It would be somewhere around 8900.00 in 14 KT gold E F VVS
Cast looks horrible like cheap costume jewerly as it made the same way 🙈 why being lazy not make by your hand everything as it should be
What a nice thing to say. You must be a very unhappy person
WOW ❤❤
I liked the design but I'm not a fan of that black... it just makes the gold disappear. Beautiful setting though!
Thank you.
No, that was too much black. It looks awful
I have a similar design but s pendant, fancy starting a new project..,?
Woah that looks great!!
Thanks
My first diamond ring my father gave me at 16. It is a very realistic golden rose with a 1/3 carot vss f diamondin the center. Hate the man, love the ring. The goldsmith is a true artist.
That's so gorgeous! You are a great artist!
Thank you so much!
That came out beautiful, personally not a fan of antiquing, but it certainly does not detract from the craftmanship!!
Thank you for your comment
It looks good when done right.
Swoooon!
What’s an appropriate price for a 2.5 ct marquise lab grown diamond - F color - VS1 or VS2 - excellent cut?
Round numbers are about $2,000 If you fill out this diamond buying guide, we can get you an exact price with several options. docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScr6AQjutjK4JL_qtmm_yjgDivvIrEKFFbSOs5oD28OF221Jw/viewform
What’s an appropriate price for a 2.5 ct marquise lab grown diamond - F color - VS1 or VS2 - excellent cut?
You are completely wrong when it comes to cut
If you want to pay more than I'm wrong. But for the average person that could never tell with their nakid eye, "m right.
What brand is that tester?
It's Gemlogis, BELIZE Combination Tester. I'm going to be doing a video on it very soon.
@@QuinnsGoldsmith thank you
I assume the real diamond sank because of density. 🤷🏾♀️
do the lab growth diamons have inclusions as the real ones!!
Yes, and they follow the same clarity chart.
That's gorgeous
I would never of thought of having my 3 carat diamond mounted in wax, interesting!
Next, the wax cast into Gold. We are making that video now. From Wax to gold. Keep an eye out and let me know what you think. Thank you.
That ring is really beautiful I wish it was mine, I love rubies and diamonds
My question is, if you were to resell a lab diamond ring vs a natural diamond ring, what is the average percentage value that each would hold if sold? I know that you'll never get back what you normally paid for but wouldn't a natural diamond still hold more value than a lab?
Well, at this point, no one is buying lab grown diamonds back from customers. So that would be zero! You would get something for the gold. Natural diamonds over time go ip in value. So, over many years, you could get your money back or even make money. But that's many years.
Thank you for the information. is medium to slightly thick ok?
Yes you don't want it to thin. Because the diamond can chip.
@@QuinnsGoldsmith thank you!
Do these diamonds pass all the test like some jewelers say
Yes, every test on earth. Terry
@@QuinnsGoldsmith thank you I’ll send you what I’m looking for also is blue Nile a good source for lab grown!! And is there better lab grown diamonds then others
U could at least spell Burma or Myanmar correctly lols. U gotta be accurate of its origin
Crap we checked that! I even spelled it for my video person. I will fix it. You are correct, thank you.
Fabulous
Thank you very much.
It's gorgeous
Thanks. The color of the Ruby is incredible.
Looks like something that the pale person who let me stay in his manor in the middle of the woods and won’t stop making jokes about drinking blood would wear!
Too many diamonds! Ugh!
Lol thank God it isn't your ring then 💀
That's what they wanted.
Jesus loves yall 😊
Yes he does. All of us. Thank you
Don't like it. Too much bling. Totally overwhelms the ruby.
It's what she wanted. She loves it. That the important thing.
That’s beautiful! You dropped this 📌 can I have it?
Haha thanks
Good and sound advice. Thanks.
Thanks
Thank you for this helpful information😊
My pleasure 😊
There’s no resell value on the lab grown diamond.
Your right not yet
Lovely view nice 👍 👌 ❤❤❤❤11:06 .❤❤❤
What an education, I learned a LOT and it was fun to watch. Thanks for sharing your years of experience with such generosity and honesty. You seem to be a lovely guy... wishing you all the best!
What I nice thing to say. Thank you very much. Terry
I hate when people post shit and don't say anything. I wasted my time watching this trying to guess
So I guess the lab grown from pet/family cremations is a pretty big upcharge for the sentimental meaning? Is it any different from the normal process?
I will have to check into that for you. Great Question Thanks
@@QuinnsGoldsmith I was just looking into them. I have to wonder if they really do use the ashes/fur or if they just do the regular way and then charge us 3x the price for a natural diamond instead of. After your vid I am just considering getting a nice natural diamond that I will designate as the ring/stone I got because of my dog to enjoy and not get raped at the same time.
