    Sad that lot of churches don’t have Adorations😢. That’s why the World is this HELL! The fall of the Church is the fall of the Humanity and the World …. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    I’m old enough to remember when only the priests and brothers were allowed to touch the Eucharist. Even the gold plates under my chin. I’m not sure if Extraordinary Minister has the right to touch the body of Christ…I’m not sure it’s wrong. Yet there is a group of people who believe that they should only receive the Host from their priest or brother. Takes more time for communion to be completed.Do feel that I’m wrong?

    Spontaneous prayer is necessary for the soul. There are those who simply read a book from start to finish of the hour. I don't wish to be harsh but I call it "the book hour" .

    We used to have the signed hour for adoration to the Blessed Sacrament - 24 hours. I used to do my hour late evening. Such a beautiful time, till the other person took over. Just for an hour. Lord, have mercy on us all!

    I’m not sure but I can give you my biggest (two) reasons. Because I want to be part of a faith that allows me to grow closer to God than I’ll be anywhere else. And to be surrounded by a community of believers whose love of God knows no bounds.

    If you read this..please pray on this and do not proceed with this abominable practice. If anyone can do this, then there’s no point to setting aside holy priests. You’re “protestantizing” the church of Christ with this modernist nonsense. If you pray on it with humility, the answer will be clear.

    I happened to be an extra ordinary minister of the Holy Communion, but I discontinue being as such upon learning that we are unworthy of doing so because such thing is confined exclusively to all consecrated hands to do it and we are unconsecrated unlike the priests and deacons.

    You gotta be kidding me. If this is what the Catholic Church is now teaching, you can expect attendance at Mass to plummet down to nothing. What a farce.

    Saul did not change his name and more importantly he did not have his name changed by God as with the other examples. Saul had Roman citizenship and his Roman name was Paul as his Jewish name was Saul. He simply chose to go by his Roman name exclusively for whatever reason. (He did evangelize Pagans after all).

    Leave your electronic devices off! If you already know how to pray the rosary you don't need earbuds. Plus listening to a program is not adoration even though The Chosen is a very good Christian program. Adoration is one on one time with Jesus.

    21:40 In one of the Indiana Jones movies, his father has to choose the chalice. He chooses a wooden cup because Jesus was a carpenter. BUT Jesus did not make the cup he drank from. He gave instructions for where the Passover meal was to be held. (The upper room found by following the man who carried water (men did not carry water)). So, the person renting the upper room for the Passover meal could have supplied any type of cup, as it was his to supply.

    Tell me what year in seminary did you receive the power to forgive sins? I await your response!

  • @powerhouse8310
    @powerhouse831010 ай бұрын

    A priest can only forgive sins once he is ordained, which only happens after seminary. Also, the priest himself is not forgiving sins but is forgiving in perona Christi (in the person of Christ).

    Do not chat. Do not use your phone. Switch off your phone. (Saying your prayers are on your phone is just an excuse to surf the net). Don't bring in food and drink, including water. Drink enough beforehand if you can't last 1 hour without liquid! Water does spill. You won't die of thirst if you don't sip from bottled water every 10 minutes! Don't pray out loud if someone else is there, that includes whispering. Don't play stuff on your headphones as other people can hear it and it disturbs them. Unless the chapel is on fire, there's no need to talk in front of Jesus.

    Is that a teaching of the church, or your view personal that Christianity is Judaism by default? The Jews despise Christians and want us dead. I want nothing to do with Judaism. This is very disappointing if this is the teaching of the church. See Chabad Lubavitch if you don't believe me.

    Jesus commanded us to love all people, He went further and said if we say we love Him whom we don’t see but hate those we see the truth is not in us! Remember Jesus IS a Jew and so if we hate Jews we cannot love Jesus! He also commanded us to pray for peace of His people (Jews). And we need to pray for their souls as slowly many are coming to realize that Yeshua Hamashiah is the Messiah!!

    No need for lay people desecrating the Holy of Holies. This is wrong! Jesus passed out communion at the Last Supper, not the Apostles. We as followers of Christ have to make time for out Lord and wait as much time as need to receive him. If you can’t wait for our Lord, do not demand reciprocity!

    Yeah excellent! 👌 Consider reading the Catechism of the Catholic Church (the large book); it contains everything; all the explanation of beliefs since Lord Jesus Christ found His Church, 2000 years ago, till now, backed up with biblical verses. Also, I would highly recommend finding a channel here called "OLOH Church", where there is a playlist called "RCIA / Inquiry Class" with Father Saunders where he explains the faith and the teachings of the Catholic Church in a wonderful and easy way. And another channel called Divine Mercy; there is an important playlist called "explaining the faith" with Father Chris Alar, and another playlist called "Living Divine Mercy TV Show (EWTN); they answer most of the questions people usually ask. It's really amazing! God bless you ✝️Ⓜ️❤
